War profiteering is treason. It seems to me that GW is perhaps one of history's most corrupt figures, and has swindled US out of billions. He shouldn't just be impeached, he should be convicted of Treason.

What exactly is President Bush's mission to complete in Iraq? I know he's killed a lot of people there already, I think more than enough people to let the world know that the US is a strong nation. So, when is the war going to end?

I'm doing a persuasive essay in my college english class, i would like some opinions about this. The way i see it, fundamentalist christians are so enamored in their own morality, they are having an effect on the governments ability to govern all US citizens fairly, christian or not, one example is gay marrage, christian fundamentalists strongly disapprove in that, and yet the concept of marrage has been around since before christianity and not all religions ban gay marrage, should non-christians be forced to follow a christian based government? (Only asking for opinions on these facts, no preaching please, preaching will not get you far.)

Why is it that liberals don't like World War II being brought up in debate, and only like using the Vietnam War in debate?

It is because of this:

World War II proved liberal theory wrong for all the world to see. Chamberlain's Liberal attitude was, "Let's do what Hitler wants, then he will like us and there will be peace in our time." Conservatives like Churchill said that Hitler had to be stopped - NOW - or else he might take over Europe, then the world.

The Liberals had their way then. A year later, Hitler was walking over Europe. But, Conservatives willing to stand up to evil defeated Hitler six years later.

In Vietnam, the Liberals had their way again. Unfortunately, instead of preventing a war, this time it meant the Vietnam War ended in defeat for the US (even though victory was possible, had the public supported it). Even though millions are still enslaved by communism there, the Liberals ignore it.

So that's why Liberals like Vietnam but not World War II.

Three-step Plan:

1. Strictly require the papers that show immigrants are legally here for them to enroll in school or use our health care. If they come to the emergency room, give them the medical aid, but if they cannot show their papers, they are reported and detained.

2. Create a program that allows a broader amount of immigrants to come here legally. This program would allow a trial period (that is relatively easy to obtain) in the US. To stay in the US, they would have to be involved in education programs that would teach them skills that would benefit our economy and society (say in vocations we have shortages in), they would have to show themselves to be law-abiding and peaceful, and they would not be allowed to have children until the trial period is over.

3. Offer this trial period to all illegals in the US that have not committed crimes or such, making it available to all, but fair and firm. After they have all had a chance, start deporting.

This morning, while driving on the freeway in heavy traffic, I saw two young men smoking a substance out of a pipe. This was not a tobacco pipe used by your grandpa, but a pipe used for smoking marijuana or crack.

I am just so sick of clowns in a drug induced stupor putting the public at risk. I thought about calling 9-1-1, but decided against it realizing that the police probably couldn't do anything and that what I had witnessed didn't constitute a life and death emergency. Should I have called 9-1-1? Would any of you had dialed 9-1-1 under the same circumstances?

I mean, it's Atlanta ask anyone who has ever driven there and they will tell you that everyone in the city drives at least 85 all the time. I got ticketed for 79 in a 55 (thanks for cutting me some slack GSP) The road was clear (I-85) dry, middle of the day, and the car had a support the GSP bumper sticker on it. Any way out of this one? Or any idea what it will cost me?

I know in some places, the police are not allowed to ask. They also don't ask when I sign my kids up for school. So who is allowed to ask and who isn't allowed to ask? I want to know so I can sue people who ask me.
