War profiteering is treason. It seems to me that GW is perhaps one of history's most corrupt figures, and has swindled US out of billions. He shouldn't just be impeached, he should be convicted of Treason.

EDIT: Response to answers: Does he have to have profited himself, or what if he has done corrupt things so that others could profit? If he is "just a pawn" then wouldn't his trial help us root out the ones behind the corruption?

I don't know George W. Bush well enough personally to hate him, but I do hate the things he's done. I don't smoke crack, I'm sober, I listen to people with different views than my own if they're willing to have a discussion with me. It seems difficult to me to find any NeoCon "Hawk" Republicans willing to have a serious discussion with those who don't agree with them.

Edit: Further response...

It's not irrational hatred and my thoughts are neither delusional nor unsupported. I've talked to people who went to Iraq to investigate the situation in person. I've talked to soldiers back from Iraq who are suffering from exposure to Depleted Uranium. I saw clearly that Mr. Bush was basically determined to go to war in Iraq no matter what and was willing to distort the "intelligence" to further that goal well before the media admitted that this whole "Weapons of Mass Destruction" was a bunch of B.S. all along.

Here's a link to a short post from a couple years ago illustrating a little bit of the research I had done to back up my opinions: http://www.critofur.com/improperly_classified_documents.htm

I have to concur with Burt T.'s answer. And at this point in the game, I'm less concerned with impeaching Bush than just counting the days and hoping for some impressive candidates to run against the Republicans. I just want Bush's successor to be an improvement.

Once we get this terrible stain forever removed from our country in 2008, we can begin the long process of rebuilding the greatest nation the world has ever known. I agree with all your assertions about GW, but unfortunetly it is very difficult to prosecute a sitting or ex president. Ford pardoned Nixon. I believe GW will go down in history as the most corrupt, vial, unpopular and cruel(among other traits) in the history of our country. Time will not judge him well.

come one.......... you honestly think he's smart enough to do all that?

CHENEY and ROVE are the ones making all the money, Bush is just a pawn who couldnt figure out a door knob, let alone how to manipulate the world.

and for anyone who disputes this stuff, Cheney was in charge of Haliburton. guess who was given all the government contracts since he has been in office? haliburton. guess who's been caught cutting corners on things they're building FOR OUR SOLDIERS - HALIBURTON. and lastly, theres several million, if not a billion, dollars unaccounted for from their budget.

so, cheney starts a war with bush, then gives his buddies all the business from it, they cut corners on the things our boys need, which makes the war longer, which means they get MORE work from the government, and since they cut corners they have extra money hanging around that disappears.... so who got it? if it wasnt cheney, it was his cronies, but chances are they sent him a little "thank you" bonus.

First, you'd need more proof than just your blind and irrational hatred of Bush, and your unsupported delusional accusations.

For him to have "profiteered", you'd have to show that he made money off of this, or that anything he did was for personal gain. Same with the "corruption", the "swindled" and the crack-pipe dream of "Treason".

You see, rational and non-delusional people require actual facts and proof and evidence and truth to make these types of accusations.

Please cite just one instance of where President George W. Bush has "profiteered". Or, since you CAN'T, please stop posting this garbage.
