What exactly is President Bush's mission to complete in Iraq? I know he's killed a lot of people there already, I think more than enough people to let the world know that the US is a strong nation. So, when is the war going to end?

After the war is won, Iraq is a functioning Democracy, and the Iraqi government and military can stand alone.

Wanting to know when the U.S. troops will be pulled out of Iraq is like asking when can I jump to a new level in my video game? Life and particularly war is not a video game where so many people die and then you get to enter a new level, leaving the old one behind. War is a complex set of social, economic, cultural and philosophical ideologies that must be played out to the end. However, in rereading your question I now realize that I am trying to answer a Bush-hater looking for reinforcing comments rather than someone genuinely interested in why our troops need to stay and when removal will be acceptable. Do you really think this war with Muslim Radicals will end when our troops are withdrawn? Or do you prefer the killing and death to take place on the streets of the United States?

Never happen under Bush. We can hope that Bush gets impeached and resigns, then Cheney has (another) heart attack - and in unable to complete the term. President Pelosi will bring the troops right home - probably the same day!
(I can hope to win the lottery, too - chances are about the same as the above).

I would have to guess it will be 2009 or 2010 before the troops begin to withdraw, provided a Democrat is elected in 2008. It certaintly won't happen while Bush is in office.

i dont think troops will start leaving until bush is out of office. he says he has to complete his mission in iraq and i dont know what it is, most commonly its prolly known as the "war against terrorism" but i personally dont think that sets an example of us showing what happens to terrorists or to show how strong we are because in my eyes we didn do anything but catch the pres of a poor country. bin laden blew up our buildings he is the real terrorist not suddam and iraq has nothing to do with bin laden, right now or anymore. and i think bush is just trying to finis his daddies doings from before. F*CK BUSH!!!

Bush isn't any decrease and run renounce President. The surge labored and the lefties can no longer stand it, that blew the hell out of their campaign blabber. Bush has no longer stabbed us in the decrease back , them idiots in Congress status on the left did, they not in any respect save a promise. YEA for Bush!!! and that i did not even for for him. Thank goodness he were given elected. Congress are witchhunters, no longer in contact in our safe practices, because January that is been like a cleansing soap opera there, brought about through them you voted into workplace. congress will have to end that war because bush will not.. and to be honest there's a decent chance (unless his own party completely turns against him) that troops will be there until a democratic president gets in.. then we could start the withdrawal.

His mission is to help the people of Iraq by assisting them in putting a fair form of government into place. If he has his way then he will pull the troops out when the country is able to support its government without our help. Have you compared the number of soliders killed to the number of innocent civilians killed on 9/11/2001? I guess you think if we just leave the radical's alone then they will leave us alone, huh?

I've seen this question many times on Yahoo Answers and I congratulate you for finally asking it with some degree of intelligence. I doubt that he'll be the one to bring the troops back. It will happen in someone else's term. However, even though I don't agree with it, he might bring them back before the next election in order to save face.
