Probably because he's in Pakistan and we don't have the right to go there and look for him.

First, he's in the "badlands" of Afghanistan / Pakistan. That is rough country, with little infrastructure and a very close and xenophobic population. He would be very difficult to find there.
Second, because of the remote and rough nature of the area, only a very limited number of troops could do a sustained search operation. This is because they would have no secure supply line but airdrop; airdrop cannot support large troops deployments. And a small number of troops just will not be able to find him. Needle in the haystack type thing.
Third, Osama really doesn't matter that much. He is just one part of one terrorist group, in a war against many, many terrorist groups and many rogue nations supporting terror. There are probably also a lot of people who would feel that the war was over if we got Osama, like Clinton did when he jailed the people responsible for the 1st WTC bombing, but ignored the groups behind them. Also, preoccupying our troops with Osama would take away from the larger mission.

because they don't want to find out where he really is.
they have their suspicions, and they don't really want to know.
the facts are Osama was a part of a fight against an expansion of the "great evil" as Reagan called it, doing exactly what he is now...terrorism.
now who would that make his testimony to that fact most valuable to???
and prior to september 11th they had the ol eye in the sky trailing Osama, and watching his movement but yet he just disappears afterwards?? yeahhhh...ooook!
they know exactly where he is, but they don't want a fight with that country!
HINT: it isn't Pakistan and isn't Afghanistan. Look a little farther north.

I think that Bush and his business partners know exactly where bin Laden is.
I truly believe that bin Laden is being protected and harboured because he is kissin' kin to the Royal Saudis and the Royal Saudis are business partners of the Bushes.
A deal has been made.
In fact, the vice-president is over there, now, mingling with the Saudis.

By now ; he is probably living in some posh resort off the coast of Africa, changed his name to Robert, has a dialysys team come in three times a week to flush out his favorite frozen tropical beverages, he's addicted to cuban cigars and sudoku, he's retired, his work here is done. We will never hear from him again.

The guy is hiding in a cave in one of the most remote places on earth.
We have to spot one person who is hiding somewhere in two countries.
I'll start believing the stupid conspiracy theories when the police and the FBI find all of their suspects within a few days.

Because OBL is hiding in caves and rocky terrain and jumping between Pakistan and Afghanistan. NATO cannot enter Pakistan without that government's permission and Musharraf is barely able to control the taliban supporters in the border region. If he gave NATO permission to search there he would be committing political (and literal) suicide.

George W(easel) and Osama go back a long way. Their families are long-time oil buddies.
Watch Fahrenheit 911, then do some research.
Bin Ladin is most likely here. Its the last place anyone would look for him.
