I'm getting my doctoral physical examination and swearing in at MEPS this coming Wednesday, and was wondering if they will say I need to have surgery for circumcision.

I watched my brother go through it last year at 19 years old (I'm 17 now) and it sucked. a LOT. He couldn't move, walk, do anything comfortably for atleast three weeks.

"ATTENTION ALL" AT The 76th GAS STATION STORE Last night prior to the start of my Graveyard Shift I was over there. ON the Glass front doors, it is POSTED that All minors are NO LONGER ALLOWED INSide after 2300 Hours (11:00 pm) to buy anything at all. They said ADULTS is ok to shop inside the store. I asked why and the Clerk said due to minors Stealing from the Store or words to that effect, they no longer be in there.

I was just reading a question posted 2 weeks ago that asked whether we should legalise ALL drugs.

Now, I am a VERY intelligent, rational citizen of the United States. I believe that logic and reason should rule all debates, rather than hysterical emotive shrills uttered by power-hungry politicians and neurotic mothers. I also believe in our REPUBLIC (read: not a democracy) and our Western philosophical tradition which emphasises personal freedom and the accompanying responsibility.

One "Keith L" responds:

"That's like saying that because the murder rate is so high, let's just make it legal. You must have some rules to guide society and prevent things from free fall. Look at the good and bad things about drugs. Drugs ruin peoples lives."

This is the same sort of reasoning that got us into this fiasco in the beginning. Now, it should be obvious that this fellow is...

My daughters car was taken to a body shop by her (now) ex boyfriend who told the mechanic ( a friend of his) to fix it completely. My daughter the owner of the car did not authorize this action. We never even got an estimate. 3 months later, and several long distance trips to ft. worth and many phone calls, we went to see the repairs being made on the car, but the car was not there. The mechanic told us he had moved the car to his house and that it was "just around the corner". He has not produced the car however and she never recieved any documentation from the body shop. He told her he had put a mechanics lien on the car and that he had someone to buy the car if we did not want it, but we did want to pay for it but only after seeing what repairs had been made...what do we do? we have no car and never authorized him to make any repairs..what rights does she have if any? What are the laws in Texas on mechanics' lien? Do we report the car stolen? Please help!!!

it's been, what, two weeks:

Republicans plot to bring down Pelosi ... and Clinton with her

New Speaker's embarrassing week has made it easier for her opponents to attack

Republican strategists plotting their party's comeback after it lost control of Congress have identified the "first lady" of Democrat politics as a key target in the 2008 White House campaign — even though she will not be running.

Senior party operatives told The Sunday Telegraph that they are already co-ordinating plans to attack Nancy Pelosi, the liberal Californian congresswoman and Speaker-in-waiting who suffered a damaging rebuff from her own party caucus last week.

The Republican strategy is not only to undermine Mrs Pelosi's control of the House but also to associate her in voters' minds with Senator Hillary

Illegals have camped in McGonigle Canyon for literally decades to the anger of nearby residents who did not want transient camps with (reportedly) unsavory practices near their homes and children. When the Minutemen, Save our State and others planned a protest at McGonigle Canyon, the property owners apparently called on the police to evict the illegals and hired security guards to keep them out. However, this was only a day before the protest were planned, and apparently a couple hundred anti illegals showed up in any event.

This article isn't written in a manner friendly to the anti's, however, here we are, WITHOUT hundreds of illegals camping in McGonigle canyon.

I don't think it should be easy to be here illegally, personally. I also understand the Minutemen took vast amounts of trash and waste out of the canyon when they wen't on a clean up tour.

What do you think?

I live in a super small town in Southwestern Virginia, and the county I reside in is a very depressed area with nothing to do and not much job opportunity. In fact it took me years to land some recent jobs. In my town it's not only hard to get a job but it's hard to keep one. The factories and industries we have lay people off all the time. And on top of that we don't have many businesses that require good education. In fact most of our businesses are from one extreme to the other; they either don't require high school or just a GED at the very least, or 2-4+ years of college. I am going to a local community college myself to get certified in office type work. But anyway, I wanted to know if there's anyone else out there living in an area that is still depressed from our small economic depression George Bush put us in.

The story listed below says that Syria calls for a timetable to leave Iraq. No kidding. They are helping the terrorists and want us to leave so they and Iran can take over.

On another note, are you sick and tired of the arrogance of stories like this?
