I don't think that any of the possible contenders would be great and memorable but out of the few good people who would make a good job, Reid has to be up there. Brown is too power hungry in many opinions and Prescott might eat 10 Downing Street if permanently put there or have an affair in the offices. The opposite parties are useless as well as David Cameron has an extremely low IQ or if he doesn't he makes a bad job of hiding it. Sir Ming is simply too old and there is nobody else considerable. Tony Blair's only mistake was supporting Bush and going into Iraq!

This is the man!
He is nothing short of a miracle.
You may recall that Reid was Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, he headed the Health Service (that's the one where the computers don't work and cost billions) and then they made him Home Secretary.
Within a FORTNIGHT, this amazing man did a management study of the Home Office, grasped the nettle, declared it "unfit for purpose" and then, almost beyond belief, he declared that he had put a rescue plan in place which would totally overhaul the system and modernise it.
No-one in the history of management have ever achieved so much in so short a space of time, and Mr Reid is clearly a genius of the highest order.
If he can do this for the Home Office, just imagine what he could do for Great Britain.
Well, I believe him anyway!

once you pay attention to John Reid speaking he sounds incredibly an sensible and in a position guy. however the fact is that he has tousled each and every activity that he has been in. as an occasion look how he left the defence branch. Our infantrymen are ill geared up and overstretched. Now I come to think of of it, his depressing checklist might make him a common Labour best Minister!

Yes he could be a great Prime Minister, a tough wee guy
and difficult to handle. Even so, I prefer Brown for the
experience he has learnt from Blair‘s mistakes and for
his natural and outstanding leadership.

Yes, he certainly speaks his mind, that's a good thing, but so did John "2 jags, punch throwing" Presott at one time!
it is so unfortunate they all become some type of puppet in the end!
Rhodry Morgan is another example, but once he was made !st minister for Wales, he, again become another puppet!

Seven different jobs in nine years makes him even more incompetent than Tony Bliar. He was a 'spin doctor' in every one, blaming civil servants and other officials for every disaster he presided over. Maybe it's his formerly (?) held communist beliefs that confuses him. If you read up on him he is simply an arrogant bully boy who's stock in trade is intimidation.

If he get more sling-shots with those little children throwing pots and pans at him then he must be good with his work in planet of apes.
After that then he can fine tune his way around in planet of apes.
If no one pull sling-shots or throwing pots and pans at him then there is no problems to solve in planet of apes.
