Grand parents do not have visitation rights. If you are serious about your grandchildrens welfare, do whatever it takes to change your daughter-in-laws attitude. Wheedle, cajole, compliment, cry, beg, bribe. Offer to take the kids on a special trip, and make sure they know about it. Write to them, but NEVER say anything derogatory about their Mother, you could lose them forever.

In many states--mine included--grandparents are guaranteed by law the right to see their grandchildren unless the parents can prove that such visits would be harmful to the youngsters. Time for you to talk to a lawyer.

Absolutely, there are grandparents rights, talk to a lawyer and if u cant afford one go to legal aid (your local domestics office can help you find it), also im sure there is something you can do about her speaking to your grandchildren like that, depending on what she says it could be considered slander.

Good luck

I dont know if there is a law such as grandparents rights. But you could take her to court for visitation rights. I would consult a lawyer to find out for wsure and not to really take advice from somebody that dosent know for sure.

Good Luck!

You would have to sue for custody and show that she is not a fit mother and that you are a better fit.

Generally, grandparents have no legal rights to visitation with their grandkids.
