I applied for SSI and my claim was "Disapproved". I filed an appeal for reconsideration. I received a letter that I was appoved to see a doctor paid for by Social Security in order to determine whether I am disabled or not. Should I go to their doctor? Should I get a lawyer at this point?

There was a long war in vietnam with America and French. American people did not like this war so much and they left but now Vietnam is become better country. Why? Is it becuse communist is not working in the world anymore or becuase America leave vietnam alone to figyure all for themselfs.

So does President want for long war in Iraq and then leave and wish it all comes out ok?

I need all you Canadians to go to this site: www.dominion.ca.
Please sign the petition to ensure that our last war veteran from WW1 gets a state funeral. There are only 3 left (105yrs and 106yrs.) We need 100,000 signatures before Dec. 11/06.
Please, it's only a click away.
Let them die knowing that we respect everything they have done for our country.

I live in a pretty exclusive Republican neighborhood between the Palos Verdes Peninsula and Beverly Hills of California.

We have the Del Amo mall where you are priveledged to pay $2,000.00 for a simple chess set.

In the middle of the mall there is a military recruiting office, but it is alwyas dark inside, with nobody inside.

It appears to always be closed.

Military recruiters are roaming the high schools of poorer neighborhoods, enticing young Americans to "See the world".

What the heck is going on?

Aren't the rich Republicans interested in protecting America anymore by joining the military and doing their part?

Did their huge tax cuts make them feel like they don't have to physically support America's noble cause?

Do they feel that they can sit home, eat their bon bons, watch soaps on T.V. and make baby after baby in the evenings?

Don't the Republicans believe in supporting our troops or are they just loud mouthed wind bags?

anyone possibly disagree with this? They showed no remorse during the hearing, laughed after being sentenced and swore at the press. Anyone who can murder a young boy is sick, but they went beyond this and it took 3 of them. Anyone who kills an inncent person for no reason except for the colour of their skin should be shown no mercy and hung in front of any other foreign person in this country who feels like doing the same, an example must be made!

I mean people or governments that are in a position to possibly help these people. You always see something about in the media but does anyone want to do anything about it? I mean if no one is going to do anything then why keep talking about it?

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:
Population of counties won by: Gore: 127 million;
Bush: 143 million;
Square miles of land won by: Gore: 580,000; Bush:
2,427,000
States won by: Gore: 19 Bush: 29
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
Gore: 13.2 Bush: 2.1
Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the tax-paying citizens of this great country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off government welfare..."

I live a nice life, I am single, low income, live with parents (baring in mind I am nealy 30).
I have never asked for benefits or help from the government, eventhough I am on low income. There is no way that I canafford house prices (even a crap area)!
I am thinking of becoming a heroin addict, single Mum with loads of kids by different fathers so I can reap all the benefits, a house and a nice lump sum of money for taking heroin! And never have to work again and live off tax payers money for the rest of my days.

Seriously though, do you have to be like that to get any help from 'genuine' people who need it?
