Looking for places for me and my girlfriend to vacation after my deployment ends. We have done Vagas, New Orleans, both Disneys and everything around them. Cancun, Hawaii and Bahamas. I'm Army she is travel agent but I get to pick. Help?

GERMANY - Take a Rhine River Cruise, Visit the Black Forest, Bavaria, NeuSwanstein, Obersaltzburg, Heidleberg, Munich, Ulm, Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin.

My father has a time share in Aruba and goes every year. He has been all over and visited many many places and says that Aruba is the best vacation spot in the world. But it really depends on your preferences about what you would like to do. I would like to go on a windjammer cruise (only about 10-20 couples aboard, much more intimate and relaxing than those huge cruise ships)

To be honest being home was a vacation to me - I really forgot all the things I had taken for granted...Like the temperature.
But, I would go somewhere you can be pampered - like having cocktails on a beach, learn to surf, learn to ski.
I'm sure you have the same idea - you learn there is a lot more to live for - and you want to go out and do it all !!!
Dinsey would defineately be at the top of my list.

St. Maartin, St. Lucia, Grand Cayman, and any of the Cayman Islands. If you want out of the heat, try Colorado, Lake Tahoe

Gulf Shores-Alabama, Gatlinburg-Tennessee, French Lick-Indiana, New York-(visit the 9-11 site), Venice-Italy, Kyoto-Japan. Base your trip on what is most important to what you intend to accoplish with your time there.

You *could* just hop the MAC flights and see where you can go.
I can't imagine having been all of those places...

How about europe................remember to avoid France they dont like the Yanks and add into it that your are military they dislike you even more.........................have a good time.....and I must say I love Venice but its a bit cold in both places right now...........what do you want to get from your vacaction???

take a nice long cruise.. at least ten days. That's what our plan is. save up FSH and HFP/IDP and splurge!
