My husband is in AIT (he's been there since June cause he has a very techincal job-14E) and he comes home in a few weeks. There have been rumors about where he will be stationed, but nothing for sure. When will we know? For those who are active duty, how long before you graduated did you know?

The President declared victory, how long ago? Where are the weapons of mass destruction? Have people forgotten why they supported this war in the first place (IF they supported it)? I'm not asking this to disrespect your views but to try and understand them. I'm a foreigner, and I just can't understand why people still support Bush. There's the war in Iraq, which isn't making the world safer that I can tell, there's the economy, which isn't great, there's what seems from the outside to be an erosion of the human rights that makes America 'the land of the free'. Not to mention what's going on in Guantanamo Bay. Torture, plain and simple.

Please explain reasons for voting Republican... I'm genuinely curious, and open to being persuaded. Thank you.

I'm trying to help the military out by getting 18 to 30 year olds to join the military. The recruiters here in my area need my/our help. Today I ask a man about 28 years old to join but he told me he makes over 100,000 dollars a year plus he has two children. I say money isn't the problem he should go ahead and join anyways. He had a "I support the troops decal on his vehicle". So he should go into the military. I ask another person ( About 22 ) to join but he stated he's in school and he just bought a new Mustang and doesn't want to trade that in to drive a hummer. Anoter person ( About 29 ) told me to "Go to Hell" then she jumped into her 60,000 dollar vehicle and went into her gated community. How do I get these rich people to join the military?

His name seems to ring of bad connotations...

but he did so many things to benefit the country...

He opened talks with china
He ended vietnam
He put control on violent movements (eg black panthers)

admittedly on the other side, he commited the prime sin any political person can... he lied (but they all lie) the main sin was that he got caught.

but this is an honest question... best answer will not go to someone who merely agrees with me without elaboration I am open to your comments on this one...

In the poem Frosts states:
"Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;"

So here is he saying this is the road less traveled because he can visualy see the grass has grown and is not warn down by excessive traffic?

Because then he says this:
"Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,"

Isnt this saying that he is unable to determine that one or the other has been worn more then the other? And if so, how did he choose? I thought the premise was, when you come to a fork in the road, often, you may find that you should take the road less people seem to be taking, as often following the crowd is a bad life choice.

Do I have the premise wrong? If not, how did he distinguish between the two roads?

is the police officer's word the final word in what happened in a traffic accident? if the officer was responding to a call w/o using the siren or lights and the citizen had the green light? this incident happened two years ago.

If illegal aliens are crossing our borders and bypassing the process of legal entry into the United States just to get a better life to work for wages less than required by federal law ( min wage federally $5.15) aren't they just barely scraping by even in this country? With alot of Americans still only scraping by on minimum wage in this country filling the unskilled labor positions in this country depending on welfare to fill in the gaps, why would we consider for a moment granting amenesty to the illegal population that is living below the poverty level and filling in the gaps with welfare?

I am 28 years old, female, just got married, and just joined the Army National Guard. I want three children, and I want to have them now, back to back. AND, NO, not to stay out of deployment, BECAUSE, I want kids, and I want to be fairly young when I have them.

If I do have all three right in a row, will they extend my service?, what would they do?

If I had the choice, I would just add 4 more years onto my service.

i think it should becuase its killing human life its not a just a mass of cells once its starts forming its human,it already a soul so if the female is having a baby from the cuase of abuse or rape dont kill the baby for the action it not the babys fault but instead give it up for adoption not abortion
