I was looking for a program where I can make a care package/christmas giftbox and have it sent to a soldier overseas. I would preferably like a program that will match me up with a soldier since I don't know anyone personally to send it to. Thanks!

www.adoptaplatoon.org is a great one that provided great assistance since I have been here.

I applaud your wanting to support the troops, however:

The DoD is urging the general public not to send unsolicited mail, care packages or donations to service members unless you are a family member, loved one or personal friend. This is done as a way to bolster force protection. The USO is unable to accept care package items however, monetary donations only can be made to the USO in support of our troops.

www.soldiersangels.net (might be .com... I forget)

They hook you up with a soldier that is "yours" to send care packages and letters to. This is a wonderful organization, I just joined a couple of weeks ago!!
