I only make 6.00 an hour. It is very hard to support my 3 kids making so little. Can we finally get more per hour now that we own Congress? Why do Repuplicans not care? My boss says he will go out of business if minimum wage goes up. Ha! Ha! Me and my co workers will just go get another job somewhere where they pay higher minimum wage. Why do Republicans not like us poor people?

Britain tapping out -- war comming to an end?

British to quit Iraq ‘in a year’
Michael Smith and Sarah Baxter

THE Democrats’ clean sweep in last week’s American congressional elections has prepared the way for a British exit from Iraq, with troop numbers more than halved by next spring.

A staged withdrawal of all 7,500 British troops now in southern Iraq could come by the end of next year, defence sources said.

Military commanders have made no secret of their wish to get out of Iraq, with senior sources critical of the decision to maintain such a large garrison.

Tony Blair is expected to urge America to open talks with Iran, Syria and other regional powers when he speaks to the Iraq Study Group, co-chaired by James Baker, the former US secretary of state, by video link on Tuesday.

Would he have to take me to court? and if he won't get legal aid (cause he is too tight) does that mean he will never see our child until Im ready?

Honestly it saddens me to see this happening and hardly anyone is doing a thing to help. I'm sad and pissed at the same time becasue I'm only 15 and no one will take me seriously because they are ignorant and think I'm stupid but the point is what is really being done and if there are future plans when will they put into action?

"Something Big" before Christmas.
Quote

Iraq disaster warning

The third and final act in the U.S. national tragedy that is the Bush administration may soon play itself out.
Sources indicate increasing indications of "something big" happening between the Nov. 7 congressional election and Christmas. That could be the long-planned attack on Iran.

I find some of the answers and questions regarding Christians and Republicans a bit offensive. Are you saying there is no democrat that believes in God? Why do Democrats ask questions about Republican Christians in a demeaning way, like they should be ashamed to believe in God? Well, I guess we know where they are going when they die. Seriously, though, if you want to rip on Christians, go to the religious forum. Politics and religion aren't supposed to go hand in hand, right or wrong?

In 1773, the American colonists threw English tea in to Boston harbour, because they were to tightfisted to pay tax.

Should the colonists apologise to the British, and offer suitable compensation for this despicable act? And if they don't, should Britain impose sanctions on the United States of America?
