Radiation poisoning is a real problem that goes right along with depleted uranium. The two Countries we are at war with are both glowing with our soldiers in them. Cancer is inevitable with our troops and the people that are exposed to the uranium. Our military personnel will have problems in the future.

Why don't you try making a post without an insult in it? This is the main problem amongst the people in this country currently, and it's proven time and time again on this very site. Insults, bashing, disagreements, harsh words between people of different parties. Just because you're of different parties or different beliefs doesn't mean you're a different species. I bet you can go down the most recent post list right now and find several insulting or bashing posts. I'm not going to lie, liberals and democrats do this to, but I'm also not going to lie and say that it's equal. Because it seems to come from the right wing alot more than it does from the left.
As for the question, of course Uranium depletion is a problem. It doesn't make someone "whiny" because they bring problems to attention. Environmental problems are just as valid as everything else.

Depleted uranium is a real problem. I just watched a documentary on Showtime last night called "Battleground" about the first few months in Iraq in 2003. There was an Iraqi doctor speaking of how many cases of leukemia, lung cancer and colon cancer have arisen since the 1991 war. Both Americans and Iraqis are sick because of this.

Well, I can imagine that depleted uranium could be a problem, but I also think that the Federation is a bunch of whiny liberals. They probably do know something, though.

Depleted uranuim is a problem that the military doesn't talk about.
When I was in the USAF, I refueld A-10's in the UK. The shells were depleted uranuim. The problem is that depleted uranuim is still uranuim! And there is ample evidence that shows it is still harmful after the depletion.
I do trust the sceintists that worry about the effects of uranuim. And not all scientists are liberal.

Scientists should be respected and I don't think that they are know-nothings or are even generally whiny. Clearly you don't think that either, so why come across with a question worded in such an ambiguous way? Most people probably aren't even going to look at your link.
Depleted uranium is obviously a serious and real problem that most people probably don't know enough about since it isn't highly publicized.
