he is not right in the head and abusive.
he does not pay for the child (he earns £60k)
he is not interested in paying
Would he have to take me to court? and if he won't get legal aid (cause he is too tight) does that mean he will never see our child until Im ready?

Please remember court orders have to be paid for, and the person suggesting it should i have pay? I think not when I recieve nothing from him and I am not claiming and he is too tight to pay for court fees.
Also, when a child is older may be see their dad, but he wanted me to have an abortion and went out his way to ensure I had an awful pregnancy. He is abusive to his family and other girlfriends. These people saying being unselfish should think do I want a disturbed and tramatised child? Yes it may be giving but some men you should not be doormats to, I have a duty to protect my child.

If his name is not on the birth certificate then he has no rights at all and you can do what you please.
If it is then he would have to take you to court, he def won't get legal aid earning 60k. So yeah, you do not have to let him see the child untill the courts force you. If he is abusive then I hope everything goes in your favour.

It really shouldn't matter what you or he wants. The best interest of the child is the ONLY thing that should matter. The child has a right to know their father. If you are concerned for the child's welfare than make it a court supervised visitation, but whatever you do don't be the "excuse" the father uses when the child is older and asks why he never bothered to see them.

Yes he would have to take you to court, and no with those wages he definitely wouldn't get legal aid. So if you say he's to tight to pay then i suppose that does mean he can only see your children if you agree to it. But if he's not right in the head you need to be careful he doesn't do anything stupid like snatch the kids or something. Good luck sounds like your all better off without him.

Yes it would have to go to court and proof must be provided that he's got psychological problems, abuses the children and is unfit to be a parent. He is by law obliged to pay maintenence for the kids if under 18 which is means tested so on his salary it should be substantial. However, if the court refuses him any access at all to the children, I don't know if he then has to pay anything.

I think I would be fighting tooth and nail to keep my child away from him. If he wants to see the child badly enough, make him take you to court, but you ask for supervised visitation. Also ask the court for proof from him that he is honoring his obligation of giving you the child support. You can also request to have the payment made to the court, and they will keep a record if he misses payment or not. You will go and pick the payment up from the court.

he would have to take you to court but ill tell you something ! unless you go see a judge and get temporary full custody you cannot leave a child at school daycare or even with family because he has the right to take the child and then you will have to take him to court you nor him have the right to take a child forcefully from the other. dont let your kids go.

He can sue you for the right to see his child. He can sue you for full custody of the child. You can sue him for child support. You will see each other in court. Do what is best for the child>:
