my father passed away in July 05. he was in the middle od a divorce. He lived in Virginia, she moved to ohio. I was the only one to go to Virginia and get all of his belongings, including his bass boat which was paid for. However it was titled to my father and My stepmother. I have now had the boat stored since july 05. She has made no attempts to to retrieve the boat. She has only asked for the title. She has attempted to make me pay well over market value for this boat. I was wondering if this might fll under the ohio abandonment laws. If so, how do i go about getting it in my name. Thank you for any and all help i this matter. This boat was his prize possesion as it is the same to me. Very hard to part with this boat.

...spend 15 minutes arguing with a sales clerk if they did not receive the proper change?

Do you work to help balance the federal government's budget, or help your family improve their lot in life? Do you think the government can do more for you than what you can do for yourself?

Lot's of questions, but their all related.

How can we know what our candidate is really about? A short time of name calling, finger pointing and he said she said. First time most of us have even heard of them is election time. Don't you think we get fooled so much of the time by family and friends who we think we know so well? So in proportion how can we begin to uphold a flash aquantance especially in politics?

We are doing some reading in my eighth grade classroom that discusses illegal immigration. Since it is such a hot button topic as of late, many of them have difficult and confusing questions that they want answered. I also need to remember I can't be too harsh or candid since some of the kids in my class may be/are the sons and daughters of immigrants (illegal or not). How does one enter the country as a "legal" alien? What does it specifically mean to be an "illegal alien?" What happens if/when an illegal gets caught? Is it true that if an illegal alien gives birth to a child while in this country illegally that that child is automattically a US citizen? I have heard about so-called "anchor children," but having a child doesn't automatically make the parents legal...does it? I want to give correct info to my students, so anyone with specific and verifiable information...please respond! Thanks!

Wouldn't that be just as effective and cheaper for states than trying to install computers? It works for the national scholastic tests, then why not for voting?

Consider:
What if a democrat lamblasted a republican veteran? Can't you just see the outrage of questioning someone's honorable service where they laid their life on the line?

We wouldn't even get to it,- if democrats had the Abermoff money laundering scandal, and the Foley sexual harassment of boys on their agenda to defend. But, because Republicans are the guilty ones here, they have to distract us with front page news of a democrat's military service. As if that's more important than who is currently involoved in one illegal action after another.

Remember what Republicans did with Clinton, -who had consentual heterosexual sex with an adult. Yes, he was disgusting to cheat on his wife. But, what if he had done so with a boy, as the Republican party glosses over?

Why is it that R stands for Rhetoric these days?

If only the Democrats would stand up and speak as well as they served. Then we'd have something.

for our soldiers after the return home from a tour in the middle East? My ex-husband was in the Army national guard when activated and deployed to Iraq for a year with three weeks notice, but after serving a year he came home and there was no mandated training on how to be reintroduced to civilization or how to interact with the common non-military person. Three months after he returned he filed for divorce stating we were two different and refused to see that there was a lack of communication. I think the military should have made it a requirement for all married couples to take some sort of therapy. Couples need to reintroduce themselves and retrain themselves on how to relate to one an other. Does anyone else agree?

The illegals I'm referring to, of course. Their gross disrepect for our laws, failure to assimilate, and making the rest of us cater to them is contemptable and should be punished.

I was born in one state, where I legally switched my middle and first names a few years ago (at town hall).

I am now living a different state, but only renting an apartment (whereas I still own house in 1st state).

I want to drop the hyphenation on my last name now (too long). Am I allowed to do it in the 2nd state where I am only a renter (but I suppose that still qualifies as a legal address/ residence?) or do I have to go back to the state where I was born (where birth certificate issued?)

thanks!
