Good question. They explained that we needed to take care of weapons of mass destruction. When they found none, we had already upset the apple cart. Now America is in a quagmire as to what to do next. The government that we set up isn't working effectively, the country would revert to civil war if we were to leave, and we will bankrupt our country if we stay - so, what do we do now? Also of interest - North Korea and Iran serve as a bigger threat than Iraq ever did - you don't see us rushing in there - we are talking. We could have sanctioned Iraq and done the same insane things that we are doing with N. Korea & Iran. Where will it all end? I don't know, but Iraq is just like the fly paper of the world - can't get rid of it after we stuck our hand in it.
