To the new people and the ones who answered this question before:
In October, I was at a concert. My friend talked me into snorting adderall (her prescription drug), telling me that it would give me a high. Normally, I wouldn't go along with it EVER but seeing that we were all drinking and having a good time, for some stupid reason, I went along with it. I have never done anything illegal in my life and being 27, I thought I would make a better judgement call than this but I didnt. Undercover police officers were watching us and took us to their HQ in the concert parking lot. We were issued COUNTY ordinance citations (fine of $426.50) and we were let go, free to go back to the concert grounds. According to them, we got off really easy and I know that we did. What we did was commit a felony. So I am thankful for that. But I obviously regret that night and have definately learned my lesson. My court date is coming up and I need help. More to come... Please wait for more info below

Be sure to be nice to them. Even though America will have had a great day, The Republican's are going to be hysterical and probably have a temper tamptrum.

Recently I was driving at night on an unfamilier road and I hit a huge pothole. I got a flat tire. I went to the dealership(I've had the car only 4 months) to fix it b/c I have tire protection under my warrenty. The tire warrenty place sent an inspector out to look at my car and decided they're not going to cover it. The reason:b/c they think it looks like I hit a curb and they don't cover that. But that's not what happened! I called the manager to tell him once again what happened and he can't tell me what I did/didn't hit. He said it was consistent to hitting a curb and there's no way they'll cover it! Now I don't know what to do? The dealership said I needed two tires and two wheels.(now I could just replace one tire that got flat, the other one I can ride with but it's not recomeded) I think that it's not right and I was wondering what I should do b/c it'd be a few hundred out of my pockets that I don't have! Can I take this any further with the tire place? Or am I just screwed?

I like what I've read concerning libertairian's views. I just want to know when they consider a person to be a person that has the rights guarenteed by the Constitution. Is it at conception, birth, or some time between?

Wondering how big of a difference it makes to have your parents along in court. I'm 19 and back in court for sentencing in a few weeks and have been told to expect 12-18 months. I don't really want them to be there as it will be upsetting for everybody when I'm sentenced but would it look bad if they weren't?

Shouldn't we be voting for people who properly address issues and not refer to a party?

Let's say you are the next leader for your country.

1. What policies would you come up with and enforce?
2. What would you change about your current government?
3. What would you stand for and be remembered for?
4. What would you stand up against?
5. What legacy would you leave your country when you are done?

They just seem like a good example of people who use the cause of organized religion as a front to kill and abuse, as do many non-Islamic groups.

Seems to me that, to most Democrats, these elections are more about voting against Bush than about voting for the Dems. What will your guys do differently and what will they give us? Pull us out of Iraq? Fine. Now that 3rd World sewer will fall into the hands of another animal. Give us gay marriage? Hey wonderful. Pedophiles and Polygamists start standing up for your rights, the door is now wide open. Make illegal aliens instant citizens? Great, have a nice slap in the face all of you who came here legally. Universal health care? Oh sweet! Now every hypochondriac out there can go to the doctor as much as they want and I will pay for it!! Hooray!! Cut defense spending? Excellent, make us the World Pu$$ies instead of a World Power. Somebody has to rule this sewer of a world. Bush did the best that he could with the crap situtaion he was handed. We don't need some weenie in the Whitehouse. What will the Dems do for us once they cannot bash Bush anymore?

I mean, if theres a strong social problem at some point, we'll just host a national vote to amend it. (as in a peoples vote). Wait, thats the libertarian party! I'm sorry, I guess theres no room in America for such love of liberty.
