Recently I was driving at night on an unfamilier road and I hit a huge pothole. I got a flat tire. I went to the dealership(I've had the car only 4 months) to fix it b/c I have tire protection under my warrenty. The tire warrenty place sent an inspector out to look at my car and decided they're not going to cover it. The reason:b/c they think it looks like I hit a curb and they don't cover that. But that's not what happened! I called the manager to tell him once again what happened and he can't tell me what I did/didn't hit. He said it was consistent to hitting a curb and there's no way they'll cover it! Now I don't know what to do? The dealership said I needed two tires and two wheels.(now I could just replace one tire that got flat, the other one I can ride with but it's not recomeded) I think that it's not right and I was wondering what I should do b/c it'd be a few hundred out of my pockets that I don't have! Can I take this any further with the tire place? Or am I just screwed?

Get a couple of other opinions...then take the paper work back to the dealerships...OR go back to the pothole that you hit, take a picture of it and take it to the dealership. Don't take No for an answer. For every person that tells you "no", ask to speak to their boss...if someone tries to tell you that they are the highest person you can talk to, they are lying...everyone gets a paycheck from someone...keep pushing the issue. Hopefully, eventually something good will happen. Good Luck!

Do you have a camera take a picture of the place where the pothole you hit is. then did you have anyone haul your car to a gas station. get the paper work for that and get your insurance contract warranty take them and show them and tell them they live up to the contract or your going to a lawyer or try having a lawyer call them .That usually works there just trying to get out of paying you.

You can try to continue to complain about it, they hate bad publicity.
