I'm a Republican and I didn't know that I was supposed to be looking for him. :(

Seriously though, this is a circular argument. It is not "the Republicans" job to find Bin Laden. It is the job of the US military in conjunction with intelligence services. So far, they've done an excellent job of capturing or killing top Al-Qaeda leaders.

I suspect that this question was asked solely for rhetorical purposes. The question that really need to take with you on Nov. 7 is, "Do the Democrats have a better plan to find Bin Laden?" I have yet to see any plan at all.

I will tell you this! He is already dead and buried in a cave in Afghanistan one week after the Americans got there.
OK! Your next obvious question is why haven't they told anyone and what about all those videos?
1st By killing him and not telling anyone they don't create a martyr. Therefore no one will quickly take his place
2nd The higher ups know he is dead and they don't have to worry about him and can concentrate on his subordinates. If Bin Ladens lower echelon don't know he is dead they think the Americans are looking for HIM not THEM. It gives them a false sense of security. Americans release tapes showing Bin Laden to "prove" he is alive.
3rd It gives the U.S. a reason to keep troops there indefinitely. All they have to say is "were still looking for him"
Well perhaps I give the U.S. military too much credit. But don't you think it is a Brilliant idea for keeping troops there?

No. In July of this year, The Central Intelligence Agency closed the unit that for a decade had the mission of hunting Osama bin Laden and his top lieutenants.

They are doing almost NOTHING to find him. They closed the CIA office specifically tasked with find Bin Laden. And, have admitted in interviews and in answers to questions that he isn't a priority .

Of course, they still invoke his name when they are trying to scare people into voting for them.

I believe that we are. But we are also going for the followers first. If we kill the followers than we kill Bin Laden. If we kill Bin Laden, then the followers will just get even more mad. Course there is scare tactics. If we get Bin Laden, the followers could be so scared that they stop what they're doing.

I don't know. I trust Republicans for their morals. Yes a lot of them are screwed up but what democrat isn't?

NO! If they were trying to find Bin Laden they would be concentrating all their effort in Afghanistan, not Iraq (which he had no connection to until we started the war).

I am sure they are doing everything they can, with or without the help of the Democrats. Besides, I think it is the intelligence community & the military that are actually doing the looking. I wouldn't expect members of Congress to be combing caves in Afghanistan.

(Strange, I would think that EVERYBODY, regardless of party affiliation, would be doing what they could to find him....)

I don't think enough is being done to find him. It amazing that we are the most powerful nation and can't find this one guy.

FORGET BIN LADEN IF THEY KILL HIM SOME ONE ELSE WILL FOLLOW. THEY HAVE TO CHANGE THE IDEOLOGY OF THE EXTREMIST.

No! America should ruthlessly search and destroy anything or any one associated with him. Just like any other country should.
