I don't hate Republicans. Many of their veiws I share. But the Republican Party I used to respect has been hijacked by the far right. Why doesn't the rest of their party take a stand and take their party back from the far right before it's too late?

Sadly, there just aren't enough people like McCain and Hagel left in the GOP.

It ain't looking so good, my friends:

I was actually just curious what stops women from having sex with a guy intentionally then later reporting it as a rape (and NO there would be no witness that would testify). Just because the law says it doesn’t happen, doesn’t mean it actually doesn’t.

I see two of my questions were removed. In one of them I was just asking about where some old poster who always put down libs like me was, lets see now...he had a picture of some ape like thing and said we were one of them I think. Anyway I don't see him anymore. The other one was about a couple of posters here who seem to have a lotta time on there hands considering how much they post. One of them says she just got a raise but I figure she's just working overtime (here) coz it election time again. If you see her she has her bare shoulder stuck out at u. J something is her name I think. Well anyway let's see if they let this one stand. Somebody in yahoo must not like old moe.

I bought a pack of cigaretes then I was chargeed 218 dollars. I checked later on that it was being charged for a transaction that the guy in front of me made. I payed by debit and the man payed by cash. My intention was to buy a pack of cigarettes so i didnt keep the repeipt. Now I contacted Walmart and they went through the tape. They saw me paid for the pack of cigarettes and LEFT. Now they told me They can't return the money because I dont have the receipt. Can I do anything about this. The only evidence of referance I even have is the Walmart charges on my debit card and the VIDEO TAPE. Can I do something about this? or no?

Freeh was Bill Clinton's FBI director and proved his non-partisan views.

Is she afraid Freeh will investigate the Democrats who sat on this as well as the Republicans who tried to bury it?

It seems to me the promise of a moral America has become a Congress out of control and out of touch with the true morality of real Americans. Regardless of religion or race is this truthfully an improvement over the Democratic party.? While our Constitution may not matter to Mr. Bush, it is what our children are told they are fighting for in Iraq, isn't it? Or is Iraq only the distraction for this administrations quest for absolute domination over any other branch of power, all the while wiping out the integrity we once owned in the world, before-"Republican Morality" took over this country. Has their "morality" saved us from anything?

I keep seeing some liberals on here bring it up, so I'm wondering how many conservatives on here have read it.
And yes, I have read it. Many times. Actually, it's my favorite book.
Some people on here are trying to say that the Republican party and/or the Bush administration is trying to mirror Ingsoc and the Inner Party. I don't see it, but that's really got nothing to do with the question.
I'm just curious.

Bush has alientated the US from so many countries. He backed out of the Tokyo accord, started the Iraq war, and hosted secret CIA prisons in other countries. To us, Iran and North Korea pose significant nuclear threats, but we are unable to rally former allies to our cause because Bush has scared so many of them with his hard line, shoot first, policies.
Will building bridges and mending fences be key to re-stabilizing these regions and re-gaining foreign trust, or do you believe there are other more important priorities for the next president?

Why should Canada continue selling MEDICATIONS, LUMBER and OIL (to name a few) to the United States if they're not going to be fair about it? We have a choice here and we can choose not to continue letting them dictate to us, we should be supporting our lumber companies in their civil suite; don't you? We have the resources ... we have the upper hand!!!!!!
