Unfortunately the BCIS really doesn't care. If he is deported, it's possible that he cannot return to this country for ten years! If they are really in love, your friend should marry him and be prepared to move to his country.
Good luck to them both!

Even if he marries a citizen, he is still at risk of being deported since the process has already begun. Has he ever been in the country legally (and just overstayed), or did he enter illegally? If he entered illegally and has never been in legal status, he cannot become a citizen by marrying a citizen. He would need to return to his home country, wait 10 years, and then apply to become a legal immigrant.

Dude did you recognize what would happen in a mass deportation? it does no longer be a job carried out in 2 months. Gangs don't have 6 shooters now a days, now they have freaking AK's and grenades. have self belief me there no longer giving up devoid of a lot of innocuous human beings being killed. The police forces contained in the united statesare already as a lot as there necks a lot that in reality, my chum (an unlawful) were given arrested and released devoid of being deported, really using the indisputable fact that they had stopped worrying till it became a extreme crime. an fairly warfare on drugs contained in the united stateswould reason havoc worse that in Mexico.

No, unfortunately it will not save him from being deported. If the deportation is valid and legal, then marriage will not prevent deportation.
