I heard aircaft carrier actuall need many other ships and warships together to form a battle groups when it goes into battle.
Is that right ?

Are those ship for protection or supports ? Or what ?

My girlfriend was involved in a accident yesterday and thank god it turned out okay for the most part with insurance handling damages. The officer issued my girlfriend a citation for failure to control her speed because she had hit the truck in front of her because two big rigs had pulled from a complete stop into the right lane and were crawling on the highway. I am asking if she can contest this citation with any success in a court. The officer I believe was incompetent because he did not have the information of the accident and arrived way after the fire truck and ambulance had left the scene. There were no witnesses to the accident and claimed that by her account he based the citation off of. I am speculating the fact that the scene of the accident was not preserved in the original location, there were no witnesses, and the person who lost a tail light also agreed this was a accident. Am i right that this citation can be contested?

I know I'm gonna get alot of hate messeges but I really don't care. My reasons for calling them stupid is because they support a very evil man! Bush sent us to war for oil. He owns many oil companies that's why he got Saadam out of the country and sent one of his own people in! Basically, just steal the oil. He knew Saadam would never let him do this, if he didn't start a war with him! Why do people think gas has been the most expensive it's ever been for years? It's been proven that there was NO weapons a mass destruction (Regardless of what people think.) If there was, then tell me why United Natons is talking about letting Saadam go? If Bush really cared for this country how come he don't let his kids fight the war HE started? Yet, he has everyone else's kids dying in an unnecessary war. If you still disagree with me, then tell my why he barely attended any funerals of the beloved soliders that died for HIS war? Too busy to pay his last respects??? How could you support that?

I personally can't stand politics. But the conversation about fox news is starting to sicken me. If fox news is an extension of the government, what do you call all the other news stations when there is a democrat in office? Then are all the other stations extensions and fox the rogue news channel or something ridiculous? Please grow up.

Even if fox leaned more conservative, and they might, I don’t watch main stream news it’s all polluted. It is only one news network versus all the others. But yet people find the need to complain about it. I never hear people complain about CNN for leaning one way or another. Other than getting caught skewing a bush bashing poll, but they deserved that.

I despise both major parties to the point where I am not political. But please, for the sake of people around you who don’t care. If you like CNN and that whole liberal news network stay away from people in public who watch fox news; AKA: their “extension of the government.”

Seems like most 'intellectuals' have been brainwashed to believe you can't discriminate because they have been fooled by 'black and white' logic.

Some discrimination is both logical and correct. There is a positive side to most all things.

Well, even homosexuals discriminate ! You don't find homosexual men marrying homosexal women, now do you ?

Seem like the definition of 'marriage' is based on the biological differences between men and women, and even the gay community discriminates on that basis.

My husband is coming home from Iraq in a few weeks YAY! but I am worried about things. I know alot of soldiers come home and are fine, but then some aren't ok at all. What should I do to make things good around here until he gets back into things? I know try not to argue with him but is there anything else? Also how are they about talking about their experiences? Everyone knows the Fox network is part of the Republican propaganda machine. Do they not know Foley as one of their own? Or do they just not want to claim him? let me explain simple mathematics to u :

most white people have 1 or 2 children ( just like many latinos ) , since they have a low number of kids their possibilities of having someone to care for them is low and it goes lower if one of their kids dies .

therefor since this is how America is mostly , America needs others to fill the jobs which they are not giving birth to .

so what this means is that not matter what ur told America needs more immigrants and will need more in the future .

i also want to mention that immigrants need help too , so if u need help and so do they why not help each other instead of attacking the opposite side with lies .

An illegal rapes a child and uses his status as his defense...How do you justify that? I find the blind partisanship on this site (and lots of other places) to be a terrible development in politics. It seems no one on either side is willing to accept that the leaders of their own party can ever make a single mistake.

So - in the interest of bringing back some civil discourse, I'll say here and now that, though I'm quite liberal, I'll admit that Clinton made his share of mistakes as president.

Granted combat pay is a little more, and it costs some money to move military vehicles overseas; however, the difference is not going to be huge as far as money expenditure goes. America pays its military whether it is fighting or not. Americans are really kind of stupid to think a lot of money is wasted in Iraq. If we weren't using bullets, fuel, and other expendable resources there, we'd be using and paying for them during combat training manuevers here. The only real difference is that a few more soldiers die in combat than in training manuevers. However, what is the total loss of US soldiers over 5 years in Iraq? A frikkin' 2000? 400 a year. That is not even a drop in the bucket as far as wars go. Heck, we lose more soldiers to friendly fire. I'm sick of pansies worried about the $ cost of war. There is no substantial cost difference in peace or war with a frikkin' suicide army of insurgents when you have US combat technology. What an embarrassment that US citizens whine about this

Barney Frank has been communicating and having sex with young boys and men for decades and openly..why are the Democrats not upset over that? Foley has only thus far exchanged sexually explicit emails with young boys and has come out as gay. isn't the Democrats tirades unfair and biased?
