After that bungled 2000 election that Bush wrongly stole from Gore, I no longer have any more faith in our electoral process! The same goes for the seriously rigged '04 election as well, also stolen by that incompetent fool. It looks like the over two century-old electoral college system will either have to be revamped or thrown out completely. I rather see it thrown out completely because of its questions of reliability and fairness!

I have no faith in our American elections anymore.

I do however still have the hope that someone will watch over the elections and make sure they are still honest, therefore, I vote.

Although, with the Bush's push for electronic ballotting that can be hacked into and tampered with, and without even having a paper trail, it looks very bleak.

Of course, Diebold is manufacturing these new electronic ballots, and we all know the Bush has lots of interest in the Diebold Corporate Metropolis.

We also have seen much failure and confusion in these (Big Brother) new-fangled machines.

No, the electoral process is way outdated and has been manipulated by rearranging districts to give the voting results they want. For example, I live in Georgia and it being a Republican electoral district, means that if I chose to vote Democratic, I would be wasting my time at the polls.

Don't believe their lies. There was no 2000 presidential election in Florida. Bush and other presidents are elected ONLY by THIS secret and evil group that's been in control of everything for far too long!...

No it was all a set up deal by our most wonderful republicans who are just so smart , and we'll never get out of debt because they are so smart. And i would never trust in the electoral process, what a joke.

I have faith in our electoral process, but have my doubts about Florida in the future elections. Poor Al Gore...had he won his home state of Tennessee it wouldn't have mattered about which way Florida went.

Are you kidding ? With the new paperless machines that all the States will soon be using .. where they can tamper with the software ... you can say good-bye to anymore honest elections from now on. :(

Yes. If you don't, why bother voting? Yes, Florida was very irregular, but the rightful winner still won, contrary to what some left-wingers would have us believe.

Does the system need improvement? Sure it does.
