OK, we all know that the major reasons for going to war in Iraq turned out not to be true. But does anyone still think it was a good idea anyway? I'm not talking about staying now or when to withdraw; I'm talking about the original invasion... If you could turn the clock back, would you have the US do it all over again?

Does it not bother you that:

* 29 members of Congress have been accused of spousal abuse.
* 7 have been arrested for fraud.
* 19 have been accused of writing bad checks.
* 117 have bankrupted at least two businesses.
* 3 have been arrested for assault.
* 71 have credit reports so bad they can't qualify for a
credit card.
* 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges.
* 8 have been arrested for shoplifting.
* 21 are current defendants in lawsuits.
* And in 1998 alone, 84 were stopped for drunk driving, but released after they claimed Congressional immunity.

I cannot believe that! It shocks me, thank god I live in Canada.

Does anyone have any idea what will happen to her. There was a purse stolen in school and it had store gift cards in it. My daughter had a gift card from the same store in her pocket. The resource officer says this is enough to charge her with. The child produced a receipt for her card but now the resource officer has misplaced the card. The purse was never recovered and my daughter swears she did not take it. When asked about where she got her card she said her biological mother gave her it and when I asked her she said that she did. I am so worried she has never been in trouble with the law but does get in trouble at school

Do their long suppressed consciences suddenly re-emerge and all converge? Does this cause the soul to challenge what the mouth is saying, causing Freudian Slips when you realize you’re on a sinking ship?

Does the finger-pointing pave the way for reverse finger-pointing as the truth becomes known? And when the ship starts sinking why does saving the women and children and our future become less important than trying to save a reputation or two?

Why are the victims brushed aside as an afterthought while political egos collide?

Is there a time frame I have to change her name in case my mind has changed? I know I can have it changed and pay for it, but I mean like for free and like her other name never existed? I have not yet recieved her birth certificate. Who do you think I could call to ask?

I think that one day, the people of the USA will get so sick of all the illegals, that there will be large protests like the illegals had, except of course, the people that will be protesting will be all legal and have the right to protest. And when you look out at that group of protesters, you will see people from all walks of life, christians, muslims, hindus, pagans, rich, poor, black, white... And there will also be different groups, republicans,democrats, independent, anarchists, black panthers, nation of islam, KKK, nazis, gay and straight. We will all finally get so fed up that we will be able to stand side by side for the first time in unity and fight for our country without arguing and fighting with ourselves. I envision myself marching in D.C. with someone in the Klan, someone in the Panthers, and a christian behind and beside me, and none of us arguing. I, myself, am mixed, gay, wiccan, democrat, and middle class, but most importantly, a born citizen of the USA.

I have been working on a physics problem for like the past two hours. Basically we were given a take home worksheet that will be graded tomorrow... my teacher said that we were allowed to work in groups and we were allowed to use resources... so I used Yahoo answers as a resource... is it ok to hand in the work or is it cheating?! At this point I would be able to do the whole thing over again without looking at the website because I coimpletely understand it. I just feel like I am taking someone else's work... But I don't want to change my answer so that it's wrong. She said it was a take home assignment and we could use any resources... I just need a straight answer... should I just hand it in?!?!? or should I do something else?

Protesters attacked Jim Gilchrist, founder of the Minutemen, who was invited by a campus Republican group to speak there. These same pro-illegals that are DEMANDING civil rights, and DEMANDING that we recognize their self imposed, yet non existent rights have no respect for the basic right of an American to practice free speech!! This is exactly the same kind of arrogance that they displayed during their ill advised protests in the Spring!! Why don't they respect OUR rights?!?!!

The REpublican has a good idea. The Democrat says "NO WAY"The Democrat has a good idea, the Republican "FORGET IT" SO nothing gets done Lets stop the foolihness & get down to some old fashion governing. If a Dem has a good idea then the Rep should get behind the idea, the same for the Dem when the Rep has a good idea. Together they might make this a wonderful courtry again. Nice idea?
