I got a ticket going 80 in a 55 and the cop pulled me for that and Racing, Can I get Racing thrown away or not, Im just 17, if i dont get it thrown away what will happen, will I lose my License's or what, this is just my 1st ticket,some info would help really good..

Ok let's fix this question...Racing can be plea bargained down to reckless driving. It depends on if the state attorney wants to file the racing charge.In the state of Florida if you are guilty of racing you automatically lose your license for a year but the officer must prove that you and another vehicle accelerated speeds in order to determine who will get to a specific point quicker.90% of the time they will plea it down for you especially since you don't have any other tickets.

DUDE 80 in 55 you will probably lose your liscence if not, plea bargain to a 65 or 60 in a 55 and get 6 points but the dmv might take your liscence so good luck

Ohhhhh boy, go to court and hope the officer doesn't show up. Sounds pretty serious to me. I'm interested in hearing the rationale for having the racing thrown out. What's the other driver facing, do you know.

First off it depends greatly upon what state your in, but I believe racing is a bad rap. Its possible you could loose your license till you are 21. I would consult with a lawyer. Initial consultation is usually free.

once again depends on state, but i know in ohio if your 25 or more mph over the speed limit it's felony traffic. so even if you got racing thrown out your still screwed till your at least 18

racing is considerd reckless operation of a motor vehicle and most likely ur screwed brother if u have a job u could ask for work privalages if u lucky
