No. But I also don't think any of these "reasons" (excuses) are true. Even if they were, his actions are unacceptable and they don't really speak too well of his judgment, either.

No, I do not think he had intentions of that, but for a while having them there, became easy access to his cover up of being homosexual and the were just his target, because he knew how to lure them.

He claims to have been molested by a priest so it's almost a wonder he did not become one since he was aware how easily they can victimize children.
