in the eyes of those wanting to make this a political bash yes, in the cold light of the truth, no.

Foley was alleged to be involved in some way with a 16-year-old male page, apparently nothing more than e-mails, and the Drudge Report now says that these were a prank initiated by the page. Maybe yes, maybe no. Time will tell. Of course it is interesting that the Democrat leadership waited until just before the elections to ambush the Republican party with these allegations, which MAY NOT BE TRUE. Foley has resigned, and retained an attorney.

Barney Frank, a MASSACHUSETTS Democrat Congressman, hired a male prostitute and gave him the use of his apartment to conduct business.

Gerry Studds, a MASSACHUSETTS Democrat Congressman, ADMITTED that he had sexual relations with a 17-year-old male page, and was censured by the House. He turned his back on the Speaker and members of the House and ignored them as the censure was read. He refused to resign and stayed in the House for five more terms. SOMETHING ABOUT MASSACHUSETTS DEMOCRATS SMELLS REAL BAD.

Actually, Asshat, you're talking about Gerry Studds - not Barney Frank. Frank (claims to have) unknowingly had a 28 year old guy running a prostie ring in his townhome - he didn't sleep with a page.

And, you ignore Dan Crane - who was guilty of sleeping with a 17 year old female page and was also censured in 1983.

And, you're comparing something that happened in 1973 (when Studds had his affair with the page) to something that happened in the past couple months.

So, what were Republicans doing in 1973? Breaking in to Democratic headquarters and covering it up, just like they covered the Foley scandal up.

If you're going to dredge up the past, get it right, and don't forget how much more corrupt your boys were at the same time.

_____________

Oh, and that Drudge Report thing could not look more ridiculous! Even if one of them was a prank, that doesn't explain away the others... LAME excuse to - ONCE AGAIN - try to cover up for a predator.

How old were those involved with Foley? With Frank?
+++++++++++++++++

I think THIS IS NOT AND SHOULD NOT BE A PARTISAN ISSUE. Those who make excuses or try to deflect responsibility from WHOEVER sexually exploits minors are not being good and just people.

More guilty? I didn't know that when someone is prosecuted you could give that determination. I know there are different charges depending on the actual crime(s) committed. I can just hear it now 'We the jury finds the defendant, M. Foley, more/less guilty than B. Frank on the counts of ...'

Regardless, I'm very interested to find out why and what the moral Grand Ole Party did to cover-up this whole fiasco.

What did Barney Frank do? I know who he is, the first open int the House, but that was before there was Predator Laws.

rep franks and rep stud both need to be strung up along with foley and left to dry in the hot texas sun. thuth is that ANY / EVERY sexual predator deserver that same treatment.. it wouldnt take long doing that that every one not caught would learn to quit..

Are we digging up bones, or are we concerned with the current events of today? What Foley did occurs on a daily basis with today's White House, but what is deplorable is the typical Republican cover-up!

Maybe we've been tipping the bottle a bit too much, and are not in full capacity of our mental abilities, eh sinfully sweet?

It's all good dearie.

Either you are guilty or you are not. You cannot be more guilty. Just as you can't be more pregnant than just pregnant.
