Think twice before you do…..
I know he has a maverick ways/beliefs at times and can be a lose cannon with some very leftie views.
However, look at the other side of the coin and you see a refreshing politician who speaks his mind and tells it how it is. I know too that people think he has too much power and somewhat dictatorial as I know the local councils are crying about their powers being taken away. Well they’ve been given a chance all these years and what has really been achieved? NOTHING!, other than perhaps arranging a load of pointless meetings-after-meetings, and continue to build their little local council empires.
We need someone as Dynamic and outspoken as Ken to knock heads together and get things done CONSISTENTLY throughout London.
What he does?
He is a keen supporter of re-developing neglected parts of London e.g. East London. He is a DOER and does not pay lip service. He also seems to give contract companies working under him, a hard - time. He dares to think the unthinkable, e.g. the congestion charge and has a long-term vision e.g. opening an office in Beijing China which will enhance ties/business with what is set in the soon to be one of the most influential & powerful countries on the Planet.
I certainly do not agree with everything he does, But still think he is still probably the most suitable candidate for the job at present. In fact I did feel like you at one time, but if you weigh up the pros & cons he is doing OK.
Perhaps you should qualify your comments. If it's just about the Congestion Charge (which seems to be for 99% of people), then you'll have to give a better reason than that as again that too is a good move for London, Environment etc.
He's not perfect, but alot better than the potential clowns that could get elected ! I also has it a guess that will you probably brand me in the same way as you have Ken, but then I couldn't care less, as you are entitled to your opion.

It's not as if you didn't know what he was like.
He screwed up when he headed the GLC and yet Londoners still voted him in.
Instead of whining,do something about it.Stand as an independent at the next election and tell the people exactly how you would do the job better. If you think you can

I think Ken believes he is the mayor of 'Ken Town' or some other imaginary place as he sure as hell doesn't help Londoners. Anytime he and his cronies need extra cash he looks to transport to raise it; ie continually raising the thieving congestion charge and penalising drivers in any possible way. He doesnt drive so he doesnt care. Vote him out, drag him out kicking and screaming if it comes to it, but get him out!!!!

If you don't like him then don't vote for him. If he does get in it will be because the majority want him, in that case it's tough $hit I'm afraid. That's the downside to living in a democracy.
Fortunately enough, I don't live in London. You could always leave and live somewhere where the roads aren't a 24 hour traffic jam.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Weve got the extended congestion charge to look forward to. Increasing train and bus fares... the list goes on. The only thing he seems to be good at is knowing how to cost us all more money. Oh and the olympics even though i dont know anyone who actually wants it but guess who ends up paying for it?

The way to get rid of any politician is to start a whispering campaign against them in the six months run up to an election. Something horribly scandalous. It need not be true - just posted up by fly posters etc.

Collect up all the newts in the Kilburn / Willesden Green area and publicly threaten to mutilate them all, this would no doubt entice the sold-out-socialist mayor from his cucumber where we could all swat him with rolled up copies of the morning star...
Failing that he is often to be found skulking around NW6/NW2 and travelling on the jubilee line...go and tell him what you think of him.
