Hmm.
They're both pretty intolerant but for DIFFERENT reasons.
Liberals claim to be tolerant but are usually very intolerant of those with religious beliefs, southerners, and those who disagree.
Conservatives are usually very intolerant of gays, transsexuals, and helping drug addicts (they do help the poor, red states donate the most).
I am simply sick and tired of the lib/con s.h.i.t. I like to pick and choose the best aspects from each, small gov't, low taxes, compassion for the poor, sensible environmentalism, family first, freedom to LOVE who you want.
But, apparently libs and cons don't believe I should, so I'm an enemy of both.

I don't think you can truthfully answer that question. It is too vague because there are millions of each party!!!
Its true, we usually hear only the loudest ones from both parties and they often show much hate toward the other party, but I know that most Rs and Ds do not have such hate towards their fellow man and wish that the parties would try harder to get along.
The fringes do all the fighting and the moderates take the beatings!!! There are more moderates than far leftests or far rightests (are those words?).
CAN'T we ALL just GET along????!!!!!!

That's tough. I would say, generally, neither. The liberals constantly accuse the conservatives of being narrow-minded, but go to search in this forum, and type in conservative, cons, "neocons", Republicans, Repubs, Repuke, or "Repuglican" and see how many results you get, and how many of those are insulting in nature.
Then do the same for the Democrats.
From the sheer numbers on here, I would say more questions are hateful of Republicans/conservatives than liberals/Democrats.
But outside of here, I would say both sides have the tendency to be equally hateful. It's a sad state of affairs, and pretty ironic.

I would say liberals are more tolerant. Liberals usually attack when being attacked. Conservatives, though not all, tend to be on the offensive constantly. I think recently conservatives have changed, and become nastier--probably since right wing pundits started flooding the airwaves.
The liberals I know, including myself, are tolerant. There are exceptions out there, but I still maintain conservatives on average are less tolerant.

truly none , their differences seem to vast to actually be giving way to acceptance , but having to pick it would be a liberal because liberals still know that they have to protect the right of speech even though it's on an opposing side . It's also because they know of compromise and will still be willing to listen to others if what they are saying is justified .

To a similar ole cop out to the themes of the black race? My suggestion......flow your man or woman way. this is usa of america. you're able to do and be in spite of you desire. Hard to say. Both sides have loudmouths (for example Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reily on the right and Howard Dean, Al Franken on the left).
I have to say Moderates, who are the great, silent majority in America tolerate both liberals and conservatives the best.

Conservatives have always accepted the liberals as people, even though they disagree with their politics.
Hastert issued a joint release with Pelosi demanding the FBI return papers seized for Jefferson's office during his corruptoin probe. Hastert was willling to set aside politics for what is right.
http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/05/24/jefferson/index.html
But Pelosi tried to nix Freeh's apointment as lead investigator on the Foley case because she wants someone who will not investigate the Democrats who may have sat on the information for months or years. For the liberals its about politics at all costs.

Considering that the GOP has made an industry of attacking the other side recently, I'd say conservatives.
