I can only speak for what it was like when I was drafted, 1964 to 1966.
Pay was on military grade, and time in grade. In other words, I started at Private E-1. After a time, I got a small pay raise for being E-1 more time.
When I moved to E-2, a higher private, my pay jumped a notch for the higher grade. After some time, my pay went up for more time as E-2.
Ditto for E-3, and E-4.
If I stayed as R-4 a very long time, my pay would continue to rise with time.
However, the pay did not depend upon whether I was a draftee (in those days, my i.d, number started with US, and enlistees with RA, or regular army). or an enlistee.
So, it is probable it will be the same, except the person who enlisted first may be a higher grade, and get more pay for more time since he/she enlisted first.
Note that my starting pay at the time was around $74 a month, about what I made a week in civilian life at a minimum wage job.
So, are we going to eliminate evil sexism and draft women as well as men, or are we going to continue with the system where women have equality for anything good that involves choice, but total exemption for anything involving responsibility and duty?

Yes, and yes. Draft simply refers to the method a soldier was inducted into the military. Volunteer, or draft. once in they're all under the same pay-grade.

Of course they would receive the same compensation as volunteer soldiers. There is one thing you should be aware of though -- benefits to solidiers and military families have recently been cut. Were there to be a large-scale draft, it should be expected for their benefits to be reduced even more.

I did when I was drafted in 1969. And they would today if there was a draft. When your sent to war, there is not enough money in the world to compensate you!
