My sister spends less than two waking hours a day with her kids, allowing my mom to raise them. What legal rights would my mom have if she wanted to pursue custody and/or child support? Would this fact impact my sister's custody ruling from her divorce if the husband finds out?

Turns out, Mark Foley drinks and is now seeking help for alcoholism.

A little while back, The New York Times ran a weepy story about Patrick Kennedy, how he's "four months sober" and junk. (You'll recall, he was caught driving while under the influence last spring.) The story was some kind of "triumph of the human spirit" crap.

I wonder if, after Foley is four months sober, the New York Times will run a similar piece on him? That would be around end of January, beginning of February of next year. Let's wait and see. What do you think?

I'm sure this will invite harsh replies. This is a question for conservatives.

After this October Suprise, the Abramof scandal, Tom DeLay, etc. how much of a chance is there for the party to return to the hands of Goldwater or Libertarian conservatives? Something needs to be done... and the answer certainly isn't supporting the Democratic (aka Communist) party.

If guns are available for use then obviously they will be used. The reasoning so far has been that " American's have the right to protect themselves" - I think you have a responsibility to protect your children and I do not think that making weapons available for purchase at Wal-mart is helping in that regard!

With a gun prevailent society the only way to protect yourself is to shoot first.

Get rid of the guns

I called the 1-800 number of the social security for my nephew today. He wanted me to ask for an application to be sent so that he can get a copy of his social security card. When I called the recording said according to the address you are calling from your phone number is. It then said according to our records the phone is registered to then stated my name. I thought we had the right to privacy. If machines are going to be able to pull out this information then anyone is going to be able to get a hold of it? The President is allowing too much dirty work to be done and I am not liking this at all. How can we put a stop to it?

Ronald Kessler
Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006

WASHINGTON -- In the past week, Karl Rove has been promising Republican insiders an "October surprise" to help win the November congressional elections.

"Rove is not saying what the October surprise will be", writes Kessler

****What could it be?

Days before the 2004 presidential election, an Osama Bin Laden videotape gave Bush the six point surge he needed to overtake John Kerry and snatch the White House.

According to a book written by Bill Sammon, Senior White House Correspondent for the Washington Examiner, Bush attributed his 2004 victory over John Kerry in part to a Osama bin Laden videotape released on the eve of the election.

The following is not at all referring to the actual borders that separate Mexico and America.

Tear down the borders
Of all of your hearts
Loosen restrictions
Of all of your love
Hold out your hands
To all those in need
Open your arms
Embrace all your people
You already know
Who your people are
You know tem all well
In your special way
You know them not by color
Not by hairstyles or homelands
Not by flags that they fly
Or clothes that they wear
You wouldn’t know them
By how wealthy they were
But, oh yes, you know them
Your people, I mean
You know all your people
And you know them all well
So tear down your borders
For they are holding them back
From all of your hearts
And loosen restrictions
For they are just cutting
The flow of the love
And hold out your hands
And open your arms
Embrace all your people
Whom, may I remind you
You know all very well
Not for their outsides
Or where they are from
For we are God’s people
Not just us, but them too
And that’s how you know them
That’s how you know

In addition to explicit sexual language, former Congressman Mark Foley's Internet messages also include repeated efforts to get the underage recipient to meet him for drinking, dancing and more. Foley was trolling for sex on the internet.

Where is all the integrity and "moral values" Repugliscums love to claim? Oh,wait....is this yet another lie on top of all the other lies?

Some Americans still go on about bailing out the Brits in WW2.A conflict they would probably not have entered were it not for the Japanese bombing of Pear Harbor
If the US military is so good why do they always drag other countries in to help them?
