I know i know this was REALLY stupid but I asked the lady if it was going to go on my record, I didnt want to ask anymore questions, i was pretty embarrassed, but will I have to put this on my job applications? Im leaving to germany and im leaving to Germany with my fiance thats in the army and we are getting married in a couple of weeks, will the army say something about this? they also said that im going to pay double for what i took and some state fees and maybe penalties, does anybody know what this is and is this something to really worry about?

If the store wants to press charges you will either have been arrested at the time of the crime or you will go to court on a notice to appear -- which you will need to go or you will have a Fail to appear warrant. You could get Probation or just court fines. If none of the above happened you probably will not have to worry.

I have some good news and bad news. The good news is you will probably not have to go to prison. The bad news is you may have it on your record for a long time. Maybe you should tell your future husband before you get married to see how he reacts. Most of all, don't do it again!!!!!

It has to be pretty expensive makeup or a lot of it in order for you to go to jail. If you have nothing else on your record, you'll probably have to make restitution and be told to stay out of the store. Or, if it was a lot of makeup, it will be probation .

okay, you may have to pay a fine on top of the value of the item that you stole. also, some stores file a criminal trespass restraining order on top of this. This means that you can NEVER go into any one of the locations of chain of stores ever again. for example if you got caught in a Walmart you could never go into any other walmart ever.

it's just easier not to steal

In u . s . their coverage is get caught as quickly as and you're released to persons. Get caught two times and you're banned from the keep, arrested and fined as much as 2500.00. Neighbor baby have been given caught as quickly as, so this is how i comprehend.
