Turns out, Mark Foley drinks and is now seeking help for alcoholism.
A little while back, The New York Times ran a weepy story about Patrick Kennedy, how he's "four months sober" and junk. (You'll recall, he was caught driving while under the influence last spring.) The story was some kind of "triumph of the human spirit" crap.
I wonder if, after Foley is four months sober, the New York Times will run a similar piece on him? That would be around end of January, beginning of February of next year. Let's wait and see. What do you think?

Interesting answers. I don't know if legally what Foley did was "pedophilia." The boy he flirted with was 16, 2 years short of adulthood. Also, are you all trying to say that sending lewd emails to a 16 year old is WORSE than driving while drunk? I'm not defending Foley, but Kennedy could have KILLED someone. It's unlikely that Foley would have caused anyone's DEATH. Very strange outlloks here. Luv Jack
