i know someone who had a keg dropped on their foot in a bar. since the keg was for the bar, that would make the bar liable. this would be considered an accident, so the bars' ins. company would have to pay. why would you need a lawyer for this???????

I was told that the state of New Hampshire has a new law, anyone under the age of 21 found guilty of drug possession will lose their driver's licence until their 21st Birthday. Other than paying a lawyer or waiting until I go to court, where can I find out if this info is true?

5 years and 8 months ago I was caught shoplifting. A contract was written saying I would pay them back. Now almost 6 years later they're threatening to take me to court. I have written and called them stating I wanted a copy of the written instrument to no avail.

Now I've researched the statute of limitations for my state and it is 5 years for written contracts and 4 years for anything else you can think of. I find it hard to believe that after 5 years they would attempt something like taking me to court. Or will they? or shall I say can they?

The young man in this custody battle is repersenting himself and the young women has a lawyer repersenting her, but the child was appointment there own coucler who is working agaisnt the young ewomen just because she is independent and a single mom, and the young man lives with his parent ans is in no way indepent.
the young women involved is a single mom and has had there young child in her care for the last two in half years, and is no in courts for custody battle brought on by the young man who's parents want the child living with them so there som can give them all rights to caring for the young child.

Why do cons blame the media on our loses in Iraq? They say the media is biased and is creating an anti-war sentiment. I think the current administration in the White House is doing more than the media ever could to create a negative impression of war in the minds of Americans. With a total lack of real strategy and an illegitimate reason for invading Iraq in the first place, the gov't has shown as why war is such a bad idea.
As for the media, sure they play Democrat soundbytes all the time, atleast they say something new each time. The cons stick to the same old garbage about victory being the only option and everything is going to plan in Iraq. You can't pretty up war, and the voters want to see what good the deaths of their children and spouses is doing. The cons say the media is not showing enough of the good things, like biulding schools and creating a gov't in Iraq. What good is a school when the children dont dare leave their homes? What good is a powerless Iraqi government?

I am a Female. I had police reports. Vandalism reports. One icident only where the Respondent tried to run me over....there were no witnesses. She called me a liar. That was it. The judge didnt rule in my favor. Now I am helpless. I own a gun but I dont want to go to priszon for some stupid lady. What do I do if she attacks me again and there are no witnesses? The judge wont believe me. How easy is it for criminals! No wonder they use dark alleys!

I got a notice from my pharmacist (not the military one as we don't have one at this post).

Congress wants to force military and dependents to get all medicine by mail order.

To call 202-225-2435 and speak with your state rep to tell them

name and hometown

that we should not be forced to get meds thru mail without option of going to local pharmacy. we should not be forced by raising copays either

we should not have to endure any more cuts or restrictions on the med benefit.
