If a 91 IQ alcoholic can be elected, I don't see why a far more superior female can't be elected!

Women are increasing in number and power in the Senate and Congress! That will turn the tide!

It is too bad that corporations, and not the people, control the government and they are all part of the good ole boy network!

A woman president would be MUCH more likely if the Republicans run Condoleeza Rice in 2008 as some people have discussed. A Rice vs. Clinton 2008 campaign would pretty much guarantee a female in the White House.

Eventually, I don't think there's any doubt that a woman will be President. There will simply come a time when the most popular candidate will be a woman, and that will be that. A situation where one party is extremely unpopular, and the other nominates a woman would outweigh a lot of people's protests against a woman in office. The question is how long it will take to get there.

Yes. I'm not sure when, but I do believe so. However, I'm not sure that it will be Hillary. I like her alot, but I fear that she is too polarizing a person and she would be easy to run against because of the lies the right continues to spread about her and her husband. It will probably be a more moderate candidate. No one comes to mind right now.

I just think that, just as there are female senators, congresspeople, mayors, and governors, in time we will see a female president. I just hope its sooner rather than later.

Yes absolutely. With all that is changing now a days, it will happen. I mean just 80 years ago women couldn't even vote, and now we hold seats in Congress. The human mentality does not take to change well, so it will take time. But considering the progress of human nature, we are, in the social sense, changing exponentially.

Yes. I believe it won't happen until most of the world is modernized. America is ready for a woman president, but the world isn't. America is the world power, so it must be respected. Some developing peoples still don't believe in equality of the genders, so they would have little respect of a woman president.

Of Course. Women in the US, as well as other nations, have strived to prove that they are as good or better than their male counterparts in virtually any profession. Now that we have female military officers, astronauts and gov't officials, a woman president is entirely possible, and past due!

I think we will soon have a canidate but I don't know about her being elected. In the last 10 years many more women are being elected to higher power offices, goveners, senate, congress. I think we will have a women president before we have a african american one.

Yes, someday, maybe soon, probably a variation of an American Margret Thatcher.

I don't think Rice has the credibility any longer.

I really really really want to say "YES DEFINITELY", but I don't know if it will happen in my life time. I do think we will see a non Caucasian male president in the near future.
