Whether you swallow the government's line or not, why are people who dont agree with it closed off, and denied from talking openly about it and asking questions? Is asking questions part of the grieving process?

II believe no one talks about their doubts of 9/11 for the fear of sounding like a conspiracy buff. Even a simple question can be treated as some sort of "Art Bell" induced wacko theory.

I think no matter the questions, they should be asked over and over to your satisfaction. If you or I are wrong, than the answers should be clearer each time they are said.

If on the other hand the "facts" still sound like cow dung, smell like cow dung, and for all practicable purposes, look like cow dung, chances are, we are knee deep in low grade lawn and garden fertilizer.

I don't think people are closed off. What many think are closed off people are simply people that don't buy into speculative conspiracy theories that lack real evidence and can't credibly answer the simple question: "If the government orchestrated 9/11 then WHY did they do it?"

Others get fixated on the "magic bullet" (JFK conspiracy element) of there having "never been another tall steel building that collapsed due to fire". Again, a moot point, because no other similarly constructed steel building was ever struck by a jetliner filled with burning jet fuel. Then, others present metallurgist reports about the temperature to melt steel, but dismiss that to collapse the WTC towers the girders didn't melt as much as then simply needed to bend a little, especially at their support points.

So, no, I don't think people are closed minded...just not open minded to rubbish.

I have a friend who I went to meet in NYC, and she will NOT go to ground zero. I never have asked her why, but my thinking is that its still fresh in the minds of New Yorkers, and it still evokes a raw emotion in all Americans. It will take more time for Americans to get over the shock of 9/11. It was a day that shook your country to its very core, and some other countries as well. A lot of european countries have lived thru war, and terrorism and have become somewhat accustomed to the fact it will happen there, but the US never had that feeling before, and you have it now. People are still scared, and dont want to talk about 9/11, or if another attack will happen again. The feeling of being secure and safe are gone, it is why most dont want to talk about it.

only curious. what's your view of the so called birthers? an important portion of the folk don't have self belief this reliable version both. and that i'm no longer afraid to communicate 9/11. It became planned and funded by skill of a group of RADICAL ISLAMISTS with a extreme hate on for this united states of america. It became done by skill of 19 sub human animals who hi jacked diverse passenger jets and used them as guided missiles and flew them into homes killing extremely some human beings. See i'm no longer afraid to communicate it. and that i have considered each and each of the "information" claiming in the different case. and each and each little bit of it really is been thoroughly debunked. the total conspiracy theory boils right down to a lack of techniques that they use as "information". and shortage of information does no longer create information. No sane man or woman previous to 9/11 considered such an attack. there have been NO previous analyze displaying how construction would react to such an attack. only because it feels like an imploded construction does no longer mean that it became.

The question that i asked myself when they started the 9/11 probe was "What is the best thing that could come out of this?" That our own country orchestrated the killing of thousands of innocent people. Is that what we wanted to hear because it seemed like what we wanted to find out. I think people don't like to talk about it because they don't want to hear answers for the questions that need to be asked.

People hate the truth! They don't want to hear it, especially if there is some culpability, and it may start high up!!

Please find that 100 ton, 1/2 football field long, Boeing 757-200 that hit the Pentagon!!!

I don't believe that anyone is afraid to talk about 9/11. I hear people talk about it often and yes, talking about things is one way to recover from grief...but there are those who are proponents of some big mysterious theory that our own government was involved...and anyone who talks that way, ought to have their collective head examined.

Your points are well taken. Not a sign of a democracy to have diverse points of view clearly suppressed.

Have you seen the Loose Change video which presents a very different approach to 9/11? You can see it online. . . . Take a look and share your thoughts afterward.
