yes, in the modern world nukes = power

Firstly, only the biggest and most naive of fools believe N. Korea is developing nuclear power for peaceful purposes. They want to be a world power. They live under Communism so they know their economy will always be at rock bottom so military might is the only way to go. If America is wise it will treat the N. Korean nuclear program--and the Iranian one for that matter--like cancers and excise them now before they become terminal. Fortunately, President Bush is wisely pursuing missile defense technology which will enable the U.S. to shoot down incoming missiles and this technology is THE single most important national-security issue for America. Until the system is fully battle ready the U.S. must be vigilant and destroy the nuclear programs of any and all nations hostile to us. Don't listen to pansy liberals whine about how other nations have the "right" to do as they please.
WE are America
WE are the worlds Superpower
WE decide what rights other nations have

Rational? Since when is NK rational?
You do understand that kim jong il is a lunatic and an evil dictator?
He grows poppy for heroin production while he starves his people. Whole families are dying of hunger and children roam the street starved and dazed and no one cares to help them..
Sometimes it is said they eat them.....
All our charity food is given to their million man army and the army's family,. If you are not in the army or part of the government, you starve and die a slow death.

Rational, funny. Kim Jong Ill is a communist. He has destroyed the economy of his country. The biggest mistake that was ever made was when Clinton gave Ill nuclear material.

Are we??

Why is it everyone ignores what we are doing and want to make an issue out of what others are? I don't want N Korea to have Nukes as their president is crazy, but so is George Bush, who doesn't have China to keep him in line!
