It's always the same person that doesn't get my mail. I think they have one of those mail-hoarding nutcase letter carriers.

If you paid for delivery confirmation, you can call 1-800-askusps. If you didn't, I think s.o.l.---write it off as lesson learned. Delivery confirmation is essential when selling on eBay since otherwise people you don't know can always say they didn't get it. I live near a high school so receive my mail at the post office instead of at my home for the reason of theft off of porch etc.

If you didn't send them registered or insured, they will have no way to trace it.
If the postman just left the packages with no one home, they could have been stolen.

You can ship by UPS. They don't require insurance and you can "request a signature" before releasing to the recipient.

You can visit the USPS and try. Good luck.

Where the packages insured? If the same person never gets the mail you send them, you may want to see what's REALLY happening to the mail you send.

USPS.com - if you have your confirmation receipt, then go to the local post office where you mail the package and inquire.
