That Fox News Sunday interview reminded me of a time when he wagged his finger and said "I did not have sexual relations with that woman". It seems to me like he has something to hide given the way he blew up over what appears to be what any journalist would ask. What does everyone else think?

Is there anything that you can do after you have lost your car/job/ money to the lawyer and the credit card companys have turned you in to collections? Before all this, I was a 4.0 student with a good credit line and had everything. I got in an accident which the cops lied and I get to go to jail for a year. I am trying to figure out how to rebuild my life. i have no idea where to start. now I know why people kill themselves. basically, I will be coming back into society with nothing. just the clothes on my back

We see how the White House is reacting to the National Intelligence Assessment--by defending the war in Iraq as 'an effort to take the offensive in the war on terror...to bring the fight to the enemy'.
I would especially like to hear from those who support the president's claim here and the war generally. How is the recent comprehensive intelligence report claiming that this 'strategy' is actually COUNTERproductive "wrong"?
Where has their reasoning and analysis missed something about how Iraq has actually served to recruit for and strengthen the radical islam and anti-western sentiment?
And even if you disagree with the Bush administration's position on this comprehensive and non-partisan assessment of the effect of the Iraq war, do you think that the Bush folks themselves really believe that the war has been helpful in the fight against terrorism?

When the Sudanese government offered Bin Laden to Bill Clinton, he is quoted as saying , "I didn't take him at the time because I didn't have any bases for taking him." He is also quoted as saying, "I pleaded with the Saudis to take him." Sunday evening in an interview on Fox news, he blew up when he was asked "Couldn't he have done more on terror?" He said he tried hard to get Bin Laden and he failed. How hard did he try, when he offered Bin Laden? How hard did he try when he pleaded with the Saudis to take him? This guy keeps putting his foot in his mouth everytime he talks. His legacy is more important to him than the safety of the american people. Why is the far Left so supporting of him?

Has the media been affected by capitalism and, as a consequence, its status as a pivotal element in democracy undermined?

What ever happened to reporting the news instead of telling us what we should think of the news? Aren’t people capable of listening, pondering and coming to their own conclusions without reading Jeremy Clarkson's viewpoint in the Daily Mail? What do you guys think and what do you think the extent of the media's power is?

S. - I noticed some other polling data that may also mean better news for Republicans in the fall. When Iowa voters are asked who they prefer in hypothetical 2008 presidential match-ups, they show a continued drift away from liberal Democrats and toward independent Republicans. For example, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani beats Sen. Hillary Clinton by 19 points - Sen. John McCain beats Clinton by 17 points. They both also beat Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry by double digits. This doesn't really sound like the stuff of an anti-Republican tide about to sweep the nation, now does it? THE ABOVE WAS FROM NEWT GINGRICH!

Ok. Let’s just say that for 8 years he did do nothing to stop terrorists. Like you guys say he just sat there. All right if there is a REMOTE chance of this being true. Let’s say it is true for the sake of the argument. Then how come when you guys elected your “Brave, War” president Bush, he didn’t spring into action to correct what Bill did wrong and keep us safe? It is well know that Bill Clinton warned Bush of Osama and Al Quaida. And he left office leaving Dick Clarke (a capable anti- terrorist expert with this knowledge) to help Bush. But Bush demoted Dick Clarke and went on vacation 42% of the time during the 8 months leading up to the attacks. And ignored CIA warnings of Al Quaida cells and reports of Osama wanting to attack within the U.S. Why? Please explain?

Reworking an old classic question (apologies!). As the troubles in Ulster have simmered down, I was wondering if Northern Ireland would simply settle into devolved government within the U.K. or whether it's just the first step towards reunification with the Republic. Particularly keen to hear Northern Irish opinion on this if you're reading this, but other Brits and Irish (& others!) please feel free to add your twopenny worth.

As someone that has both British & Irish parentage, I guess I feel pretty ambivalent towards the issue. Whatever makes the region happiest, stable and peaceful is the most important thing. Though, I don't know whether independence would work completely as N.I. would likely become an even smaller European country like Andorra or Moldova in economic and political terms. What do you reckon?

[P.S. Remember the last time Northern Ireland played England as well as Spain in a competitive football international?...]

These things are becoming way too frequent, and I'd really like to start ratting these fools out. I know it won't slow down the flow of junk mail into my box, I'm just worried about other people falling for these schemes.

I hear a lot of people griping that the rich get tax cuts. What about the fact that those making $40,000 or less are only paying about 3%, and the rich pay a higher percentage? Do you know how much YOU paid in taxes?

Once again, lies, lies, lies.
It was the "I-did-not-have-sexual-relations..." thing all over again.

And I knew he had trouble keeping his hands off of women, but you would think he could keep them off of Chris Wallace's lap!

There is an old quote that goes something like this...
"Bill Clinton may not be the worst president we have ever had, but he is the worst person we have ever had as president." I totally agree.
