These things are becoming way too frequent, and I'd really like to start ratting these fools out. I know it won't slow down the flow of junk mail into my box, I'm just worried about other people falling for these schemes.

If it's a 419 scam, you can contact local FBI but chances are they already know about it.
Most of the 419 scams originate from Nigeria and from only a few Internet cafes so many of them share the same IP.
You could go to one of the 419 baiter forums and post the letter there.
The best way to fight them is to inform your friends and family not to fall for the scams.
Most of them get e-mail addresses from guest books on Internet sites,so if you sign alot of guest books you will get alot of scam mail.
Next time you sign a guest book, look at some of the entries,if you see one that says "Mugu" or "Mugu don't land here",or "I dey here",or a variation, that is their calling card.It is left so that other scammers know they have already harvested e-mail addresses.

Oh and i must make this clear.
If you decide to bait them yourself...Make sure you know what you are doing!
Do not give them any legitimate info!
And never tell them your address, name, phone number!
They are criminals that will go to almost any length to get your money.

Best thing to do is to report it directly to your ISP or other e-mail provider

That company can then work on blocking, or work with any necessary agencies for anything that is more than simple Spam Scam.
