Those of you who do not seem to be worried about 20million illegals aliens roaming the streets of the US, is unbelieveable!! If for no other reason than security, not to mention the burden on our medical, educational, judicial, local lawenforcement, prison's..do some research on the number of violent crimes committed by illegal aliens. Just look what is going to happen to those two border patrol agents, who chased down illegal drugrunners, shot one in the buttocks..they are facing 20years in prison! can u believe that..and to make it worse...the illegal alien that was shot in the buttocks..has gotten FREE medical treatment, and is suing the US goverment for millions! and will not be charged with any crime. If you want some good information...check out this web-site...WWW.FAIRUS.ORG

Another fact: The IRS has paid out $10billion in refunds and credits to illegal aliens who used fraudulent SSNumbers's, and it has NO intentions of going after those who've made fraudulent claims...

If we do not secure our borders, and start deporting these illegal aliens, (stop the "anchor baby" program...no more automatic citizen for a baby born to illegal parents)
we will be as bad off as Mexico.

Legal immigration is good...Illegal immigration is really bad!!

Come here legally or do not come at all.

The problem is a lot more complex than meets the eye. Informatio Technology is an enabling technology that has made globalisation, disintermediation, micro payments etc very real. What I find most impressive about the US is that the checks and balances put in place, ensures that the major policies have a lot of wisdom for the greater good for both Americans and of Mankind. I am particulary impresssed by the Congressional hearings of Benake and his counterpart on economic matters. They address your question more comprehensively, more competently than I or this forum can. The best this forum could achieve is to politicise the issue, turning it to either a "soap" box or a "soap" opera!

Some of these answers both sadden & anger me...how can middle-class Americans be so naive to think the effect of 12 - 20 million illegal immigrants draining our country of it's lifeblood will just go away! This "head in the sand" attitude is one of the reasons we are having to fight this "war"! Don't any if you have children in our failing school system? Parents/Grandparents that depend, even partially, on medicare who's rates are set to double in January due to the drain on the system? Live in a large metropolis where crime rates are soaring i.e. Houston? The negative impact of the illegals on America is staggering!
I am assuming some of the people chastising others in their efforts to "do their part" are the 20's & 30's, 40's age.... Well, guess what? It's time for you to step up to the plate & do your part to help preserve this nation of ours! That doesn't mean to press one for English, have to import asians for their math & science skills, never take your children in the car because of the crossfire between rival mexican gangs (twice in the last 6 months (1-Texas, 1-Pa.) again fight diseases from a 3rd world country that the US eradicated decades ago....the list could go on & on! What is the matter with you - look around, read the papers, watch TV...then think ahead to what it will be in 10 years..how can you be so irresponsible in your obligation to the next generations? Yes, it is an obligation...my generation have fought many people that have wanted to change our way of life in America but our time has come & gone...it's your turn...for the sake of yourselves, your children and future generations! Did you enjoy seeing our flag flown upside down beneath the mexican flag? Obviously so......how shameful!!!!

I don't support places that I feel are unsavory in their practices if I know it. I don't go out of my way to find out. I do a lot of shopping at local businesses that I know. I do buy online. I do support Mom and Pop shops. I won't eat at Red Lobsters-because of their practices (but I haven't stop eating seafood).
Your site was interesting and I am sure important to many.
My feeling is don't ask me to break the law or lie for you. Don't ask me to support Law breaking. I think that is fair.

I would boycott more than just the businesses hiring illegals. It starts with the government, and larger corporate business. If you voted for BUSH. There is your answer.

so do u grow ur own produce & hunt ur own meat, pick ur own cotton for clothes? don't think so, somewhere along the line i'm sure u shop at one of these places not knowing what's going on behind the back doors. do us a favor and stop spreading ur idiotic & hateful ideas cuz it only makes u look that much more uneducated. BTW do u really have enough time in ur life to dedicate this much time & effort to hating ppl. that says something about u!!!
