Could a person call the police information desk 12 times one day, then call the police information desk the next day 12 times without getting into trouble? Keep in mind that each time you call, you are asking real legit questions. And also keep in mind that the same person will be answering each time you call. How many calls can you make before this person answering the phone becomes angry and sends the police out to your house?

My husband was in the national Guards, what would be the probability to be sent somewhere to do anything at all? He says if hes in school (theyll pay for him school) and if they dont have enough people in his unit, they cant send him anywhere. He will only go saturday and sunday during day hours and never go anywhere for 2 weeks out of the year over night, just in the day hours. Im just worried if he goes back in cause we're trying to get pregnant. Is he lieing?

Taped right to the customer ordering counter was a sign that read .......

" If you can speak Spanish, please do so when ordering".

No I'm not kidding one bit! The sign wasn't some small discreet little note. It was a full blown, large type, bold font, sign that couldn't be missed. It's been a week since we got back home and I'm still bothered by this and find myself watching for similar signs everywhere I go now. Anyone else seen anything like this out there? RRRRRRRRRRR it just chaps my hide!

Because we are truly a nation by the people, for the people, that in less than 200 years developed the technology to put a man on the moon, while other nations destroyed themselves with petty, internal squabbles and wars with their neighbors. We also live incredibly well here because of our own ingenuity, which is why the USA is the only country that people die (literally) to get into. Yet today the USA is called a terrorist nation by ignorant citizens of other countries that live partly at the expense of the US taxpayer, as we fight a completely just war against Arab Islamic fundementalism. If it were up to me, I would withdraw every dime of foreign aid to the rest of the ungrateful world and let them sink or swim.

Yes, he made a mistake 40 years ago, but he keeps getting reelected, so he must be doing something right.

Will he ever be redeemed in the eyes of the public? Or will the poor guy always be the butt of jokes and object of ridicule?

Don't just say something like 'it was the depleted uranium' or 'it was the chemical weapons' unless you have a source or something.

And what is it anyway? What are the symptoms? Who caught it? I've only ever heard of it in reference to UK soldiers, did Americans get it too? Did any soldiers from any country ever get compensation for it because I know UK soldiers had trouble getting compensation because they couldn't prove it was real or something.

If your child, spouse, parent or other family member were murdered, would you still think capital punishment is wrong? Shouldn't it be an eye for an eye....a life for a life?

Times change...that's a fact. I don't think anyone can dispute that. I have been seeing a common argument in Republican vs. Democrat racism issues. "The Democrats started the KKK." First of all, even if that is true (I don't know the whole history of the Klan and don't care) that doesn't mean that hating minorities is a main platform that the Democrats still stand upon. Is it really difficult to understand that the Dems don't agree with the KKK either? The only reason they are not trying to outlaw the Klan is because as despicable as their view is, it is their constitutional right...unfortunately. Right to assemble and right to free speech. I know a lot of you righties hate that free speech thing, but you can't change it. But you take that as, "Democrats love the KKK." Simply not true. Now tell me, is that really hard to understand?
And please...no KKK history lessons. That's not what I'm asking for. Thank you.

And the fault is not just in Republicans. Many Democrats are just as bad. They put through bills they know are never going to pass-flag burning and gay marriage and such, and don't care how many people are out there homeless and without any health care whatsoever. They think you can make ends meet with a lousy $5.15 an hour while they get raise after raise ( I think I read it was 9 raises for Congress since the national minimum wage had changed at all!)
Now last night I read where they are selling our bridges and toll roads!

You know, when I talk about Clinton, I'm referring to that time when he lied on the bible about receiving Oral Relations from Monica Lewinsky....
