.......haven't they learned turn off the mikes.......

You can't blame the economy, you can't blame unemployment, you can't blame lack of jobs, you can't blame lack of social services, and you sure as hell can't blame lack of educational funding (DC spends over $15,000 per pupil per year!!!!)

DC, a thoroughly Democratic run city, gives us another example of the liberal achievements for the black communities

Although Cosby's visits to inner cities around the country have been received with considerable local enthusiasm, his campaign has been far less well-received among the mainstream black political and intellectual leadership. That is to say, black liberals.

For these folks, Cosby has committed two great sins. One, a famous black man with a national audience of whites as well as blacks has stated that there are problems in the black community. Two, he has suggested that blacks need to look at themselves rather than at others to solve their problems.

I see it here all the time. A liberal will ask a really stupid question that bashes Bush and the conservatives start to rip all of us apart. Are you too dumb to understand that those who ask a question like that do NOT represent the rest of us? I have tried to ask and answer intelligent, thought-provoking questions, but instead of getting honest answers from conservatives, I get spiteful ones because of some moron lib that decided to ask if Bush likes it up the a**. They get pissed off with me because of them and I had nothing to do with it. Is it hard for conservatives to understand that not all liberals are immature like this? I know that not all cons are jerks or crooks. Politicians are, not just one party. I would like to hear from conservatives that feel one way or the other, please.
Note: I am not taking it personally...it's just Y!Answers...I'm just concerned with middle-America and whether or not this is how people actually think.

So by this definition the war in Iraq is fought between opposing terrorists?

A ceasefire was signed over 50 years ago, but did the war actually end? If it did end, why are US troops still in S. Korea?

There are no shortage of voices now saying the war in iraq was a mistake. Once justified by the tragedy on 9/11. Now that it is clear the reaction was wrong, we should now move to the cause of the attack so we can prepare and better respond in the future. U.S. policies around the word caused the attack and our response has been to treat the people in these regions worse and kill just as many americans ourselves with this grab for oil. Another cause is constantly making israel issues our own. The u.s. was never threatened by the middle east. To win the war on terror, we must stop causing it. By destabilising every country that isn't in europe. I am tired of children who don't have food becoming "rebels" with a machine gun in one hand and a cia training manual in the other. The Valerie Plame incident highlights the fact, we have agents everywhere doing all kinds of dirt. Israel should not top our news, it should rotate with other countries- they are important too, if not more.

The footage showing Blair asking Bush's permission to visit the crisis in the Middle East has demonstrated without a shadow of a doubt that Great Britain is no longer a sovereign nation but one that hocks to the wishes of America. What a sad state of affairs.

I am so angry I could spit nails...our fine president is about to veto a bill that would finally open the door to embryonic stem cell research. This would lead to advances in research involving so many diseases that kill millions of people every year. Opponents of this research argue that human embryos are destroyed in this process, yet these are the same embryos that are simply thrown away; leftovers from fertility clinics that will never be used. So instead of the destruction of the embryos, we have the descruction of those, plus the destruction of all the people whose lives could be saved. How rediculous! Can someone tell me who would be the person to e-mail or otherwise contact to protest this latest lack of insight displayed by our president? Would it be my senator? How do I get an e-mail address for him? I live in Pennsylvania.

Wasn't it to gain freedom from unjust laws and taxes? If so why is it that we now have so many laws on several levels. Federal, state, county, city, and town laws?In which we as citizens are supposed to know every one of them as they say ignorance to law is no excuse. And everything we do is taxed? Clothes, property, school, food ,gas ect.

watching the news right now, and the CNN and MSNBC are using terms like these: "Iran and Syria ACCUSED (my emphasis) of providing over 13,000 missiles".

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!

Nobody is accusing Iran and Syria. Accusing connotes the possibility that the charge could be wrong, that the accused can prove its innocence.

There is no ACCUSING. It is a FACT!!!!!!!!

The headline should be "Iran and Syria SUPPLYING 13,000 missiles to be launched at civilians inside Israel. Not at military or strategic targets, but against civilians".

Liberals, you are really pathetic.

A better solution to mideast problem is in the hand of Arab countries. The weapon that will bring a full stop to all nonesense happening there remains in there hands up to this time. That weapon/solution is nothing other than oil. All Arab countries should sancton western world, as they (Mideast countries) happen to be sanctioned by the counterparts. Arab countries should stop oil business with western countries, from then western countries will look into their matter with good intention than they are doing now. If one look carefully, west is agains the mideast. whether we like it or not (I don't care about insult, abuse, or whatever kind of nonesense that this will bring to me, instead they will be highly respected, and never hurt me), western world can be punished by mideast countries if (mideast countries) wish to do so. OIL IS THE WEAPON. Western world does not want peace to reign in the mideast, they always want catastrophe, desarsters, etc. then they should face the same response

I would hate my job as a senator if I had to work my as.s off passing bills all day long that I really think will help the country and humanity knowing the president is just going to rip it up when it reaches his desk. The bill would allow federal money to support stem research using embryos that would have OTHERWISE BEEN DISCARDED BY FERTILITY CLINICS. If the president thinks it's murder to use the embryos to SAVE LIVES, why the ***** is he going to let them get thrown out? That's the ******** murder right there.
