Whoa, apparently some people have some strong feelings about this, I don't think it is a big deal. The media is making it a big deal. I think 90% of the US uses that word if not worse.

Nothing. I say it all the time. (Maybe I should be honored that I'm so "presidential."

he is human isn't he? why is it that you can, but not our President? He is the one that is handling our country and going through all the crap for our safety and freedom while we sit comfortably in our homes and use the internet, so many Americans are out there busting their asses to keep it that way!!!! yeah big deal or leader is a potty-mouth, you know what if i were in his shoes, id be saying a hell of a lot more than ****!!! so while you sit there and enjoy your freedom think of this, you probably slept in a warm comfy bed while our troops are lying on the ground to keep you safe!!! while you have already probably had breakfast our troops don't even know when their next meal will be!!! so before you ***** about a minor swear word, think about what the man is go through will you?!?!?!?!!!

Why the fuss. President said a bad word? Big deal. His unsophisticated assessment of the middle east crisis is far worrying. He cannot string a coherent though together.
His deeds are far far worse than his language.

that more candid talk from politicians is what is needed. Calling spade a spade. I am still waiting for a liberal to say "Yes, we hate Bush, but we have to admit that when over 25% of a religion and culture live, breath, talk only about killing everyone in the West, well, we are no longer going to call them a religion of peace, but confront them head on."

it is typical of the man??!!!! hhehehe is really pathetic. A president should know what to say and how to say it . especially if he is a great man leading our country ... he is not an ordinary man ,,, otherwise , the language that will be used in big gatherings and conferences will be profane. Decorum is political and knowing how to say things in way that does not hold you wrong nor catches you red handed is important in the world of politics .. the whole world is laughing at us

No big deal. He was talking to a friend (PM Blair) and I say worse words every day.

Remember Bush has a ranch. On a ranch that word "****" is synonymous with: poop, crap, dung, feces, number two, turd etc. all of those words are not "cuss words".

It just shows he is actually human.... no big deal....... I'd think trying to get people in the middle-east to live peacefully is enough to make anyone swear.

Who cares? I use it about 200 times a week. It's a total non-issue.... unlike his administration's incompetence and invasion-for-profit agenda.

He is a human. Leave him alone. Why is someone using a mild expletive "breaking news".
