I voted for him twice and I still support him on some things.
I disagree with him on fiscal issues and the rapid expansion of government. I agree with him more than I disagree with him and I can not find an opponent to him that has anything resembling a plan to change any of the things that bother me so I would say he is still the best man for the job.
For the pepole who said they didn't know about his policy on stem cell research is right. I totally agree with him on that. I think that stem cell research is cool and we should do it, but not everyone does and all the presidents policy says is that the government will not pay for it. Where in the Constitution does it say that we will research medicine? It doesn't.

I have voted for Bush twice, and I do not regret it at all. We are living in a new era where information travels so quickly that it is hard not to hear many negative things about the leader of our country. There used to be a time were the American public supported their president, and the decisions he made. I think that has come to an end. I do not follow politics like some others do, and I can't go issue by issue with you on what I agree/disagree with about Bush. All I can say is that we need to support our leaders....unless they are very corrupt they deserve the respect.

I think Bush has many shortcomings, but his opponents have not presented a coherent alternative program that the people support.
From the conservative point of view, I would say that Bush is seen as lowering taxes, strong on defense, and supportive of conservative judges and values. Conservatives would also say he spends far too much money, and is not doing enough on illegal immigration.
I think that for many, the idea that he is stronger on defense than the Democrats is what wins elections for him. I know many people feel that Bush exaggerates the terrorist threat, and/or that the Democrats are unfairly tagged as weak, but that's the perception out there.

You want other opinions? You are going to be waiting a LONG time for those...his disproval rating is at a all-time high for almost any President....(except maybe Nixon) The only supporters of Bush are his fellow wealthy Texans (and that is starting to dwindle)...Bush has destroyed the morale and spirit of America...besides killing innocent people (our own Americans, too), made the poor even poorer, and made himself out to be the laughingstock of the political and non-political world. I sincerely hope you have a good book to read........

I support W-I don't always agree with him! I think we need to close our borders and do something about the illegals. I am not 100% certain that his stand on stem cell research is right. I think he is doing the right thing in Iraq, I am still not certain of his handling of N Korea. I think he is fighting terrorism even though the press would have us believe otherwise. I think he is working for the betterment of our nation.
I chose to vote for him the first time because he called that reporter "a real a$$hole" and I thought to myself, here's a man who calls em like he sees em, and thus far, he has.

I voted for him twice.
I think he's doing a fine job with what he has to work with.
I support his actions with Iraq...I never cared about WMDs - still don't care...Hussein pretended he had them - he bluffed with his military stances on the borders of Kuwait, and he continually shot at coalition aircraft...we were right to be there.
i support his actions in Afghanistan and applaud the work being done there. We WILL find Bin Laden.
I support his tough stance with international economics and even the Kyoto accord.
I support his alliance with Israel and his guidance in the disarmament of the IRA.
I understand his stance against stem cell research - though I don't necessarily agree with it...it'll be one of those things another country develops before us.
And compared to Clinton - he's a breath of fresh air.
I just wish he'd practice his speeches before going on air...
he always sounds like he forgot his lines.

Forgive my intrusion...but that does seem to be one of Bush supporters main failings. Don't let the people who disagree with you speak. That way you can go on pretending that the economy's good, pollution's a myth, torture is excusable, spying on your neighbors is justified, wars can be won...

i like our president. i don't agree w/everything he says but he is doing a pretty good job considering the obstacles and problems the United States has had since 2000. if he could run for office again, i think he would win again. most Americans i know would vote for him.

Have you ever noticed that most people do not like presidents that have started conflicts or wars dispite their popularity beforehand, even if the war/conflict was essential at the time?
