It's regarding John Doe confidential informants and Franks v. Delaware motion. A judge denied a motion to supress evidence using a franks motion because he says the John Doe has to be a agent of the government. My lawyer says he is wrong but has not found anything to support this. I need to find something to prove this wrong. Thank you very much in advance for any information you might have.

I know this question has been asked before, but I would like to express my own opinion and make a few, shall we say, suggestions...

Prostitution is one of the oldest professions in the world and no matter what the government and society at large tries to do about it, it's not likely to ever just go away. Knowing that, wouldn't it be better to just legalize and regulate it?

Prostitution is dangerous. Well, so is driving a car. There are many other professions that are dangerous, but these are regulated and have safety measures. Why not license prostitutes? If someone were to prostitute without a license, then it would be against the law. Also require 6-month check-ups for STDs. Go a certain amount past the check-up time and the consequences could be, say, a fine.

It's immoral. In today's society, that's the moral opinion. It has been an accepted profession in cultures historically. Our tax dollars and the resources of our police forces should be spent on more serious crimes

There are already blood tests, waiting periods and even counseling requirements in some states. Do we need the government that active in our private lives or should we have the right to make our own decisions even if they end up being mistakes?

If Hillary Clinton had been the cause of a fatal traffic accident while she was a teenager would it be ignored as it has been with the case of Laura Bush?

At the age of 17, Laura Bush caused the death of a classmate in a car accident (http://www.snopes.com/politics/bush/laura.asp). Why was she not cited for manslaughter?

I posted a question a while back about these evil Mason people threatening my husband and myself with weapons, now this son of a bit@h is making threating phone calls to my husband saying he has the connections to ruin his carreer if he goes to the cops about the incident or does anything about it. I am sooo pissed and too through. My hubby thinks it's BS, but these people are crazy, and I am concerned. Aside from doing soemthing stupid and illegal, what can I do?

The Israelis and most of our media are lying as usual.

But here's the truth people :)

"basically the current stage of what's going on -- there's a lot more -- begins with the Hamas election, back the end of January. Israel and the United States at once announced that they were going to punish the people of Palestine for voting the wrong way in a free election. And the punishment has been severe.

At the same time, it's partly in Gaza, and sort of hidden in a way, but even more extreme in the West Bank, where Olmert announced his annexation program, what’s euphemistically called “convergence” and described here often as a “withdrawal,” but in fact it’s a formalization of the program of annexing the valuable lands, most of the resources, including water, of the West Bank and cantonizing the rest and imprisoning it, since he also announced that Israel would take over the Jordan Valley. Well, that proceeds without extreme violence or nothing much said about it.

Gaza, itself, the latest phase, began on June 24. It was when Israel abducted two Gaza civilians, a doctor and his brother. We don't know their names. You don’t know the names of victims. They were taken to Israel, presumably, and nobody knows their fate. The next day, something happened, which we do know about, a lot. Militants in Gaza, probably Islamic Jihad, abducted an Israeli soldier across the border. That’s Corporal Gilad Shalit. And that's well known; first abduction is not. Then followed the escalation of Israeli attacks on Gaza, which I don’t have to repeat. It’s reported on adequately.

The next stage was Hezbollah's abduction of two Israeli soldiers, they say on the border. Their official reason for this is that they are aiming for prisoner release. There are a few, nobody knows how many. Officially, there are three Lebanese prisoners in Israel. There's allegedly a couple hundred people missing. Who knows where they are?

But the real reason, I think it's generally agreed by analysts, is that -- I’ll read from the Financial Times, which happens to be right in front of me. “The timing and scale of its attack suggest it was partly intended to reduce the pressure on Palestinians by forcing Israel to fight on two fronts simultaneously.” David Hearst, who knows this area well, describes it, I think this morning, as a display of solidarity with suffering people, the clinching impulse."

When the American people stop their government from sending a total of $90 Billion of their taxes to Israel to support their barbaric acts then the fighting will stop.

And also when the American people stop their governments from vetoing any chance of a peaceful settlement, then maybe there will be an agreement.

I know foreign soldiers who are in the US military as part of their quest for citizenship. Many have relatives living in the states illegally. Interestingly these soldiers are often far more motivated and reliable than many of their "born-and-raised" American counterparts. One of America's greatest military heroes was Rafael Peralta, a legal immigrant who loved his new country. In Iraq he repeatedly volunteered for dangerous missions, ultimately taking rounds to the face, tucking a live grenade to his abdomen, and saving the lives of a squad of Marines who otherwise would have died. The day will come when I will honor the Peralta family, the Mexican town from whence he came, and all Mexican immigrants in gratitude for the life and the sacrifice of one of their noblest sons. If even an ounce of the immigration venom on either side is due to racism, the racists are those who don't belong in this country. They should leave. American freedom isn't a birthright - It's an earned right.

I'm a Democrat but not a liberal. Personally I think voting to oppose a ban on same sex marraige is a political blunder on the part of the Dem party. If they vote against the ban and Repubs vote for it then gay marraige and values becomes an election year issue. If Dems vote with Republicans to ban gay marraige then it takes the entire issue off the table. Gay people will still vote Dem because they so desperately hate Bush and the corrupt Republican party. The thing is there are simply much more important life and death issues to consider before you ever get to whether or not a man should marry a man. I'm insensed that people have voted Bush to ensure that gays wont marry but now complain that their son is dead in Iraq or they can no longer buy prescription drugs because they are too expensive or complain about gas prices or that minimum wage hasnt moved in 5 years. Well, they should of paid closer attention to the true issues that effect our lives.
