You've got to be kidding me?!?

Like any country/people in the world, they have a right ot defend themselves against any unjust act of violence. right? well doesn't this give the Palestinians every right to defend herself from Israel's Genocide?

Let us not forget what the media didn't share prior to lebanon's invasion that Israel was bombing Gaza. And prior to the kidnapping of the israeli soldier (again he was a soldier, not a civilian) and israeli naval ship killing a palestinian family of 7 picnicking on Gaza Beach, along with shooting missiles and practicing sound bombs which are illegal to conduct over any highly populated urban areas. COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT gives every single Palestinian the right to fight whether it be militarily (using militia, since of course Palestinians are living under occupation and use rocks as weapons) or economically. It is unfortunate however that since palestinians are living under Israeli occupation, palestinians are also forced to buy Israeli goods, thus also living under economic occupation. Since Israel restricts goods as well as medicines from entering Gaza and the West Bank, Hamas has supported the Palestinians by providing medicines as well as establishing a school system. Now Since the world wanted Palestinians to practice democracy, they did...voting for Hamas, since Hamas supports infrustrature growth, something Israel has a tendency to destroy purposely fearing Palestinian majority in the region. Now that Hamas (known to have a bad past, which i have to admit isn't pretty at all) was voted in Palestinian government. The US and Israel deny the fact that hamas was voted in. So are you telling me that we can't even vote for our own representatives? I thought the world wanted us to practice democracy? Hamas was a product of israel's occupation and aggression on the Palestinian people. It was also noted that Hamas was originally started by the Massoud (Isreal's secret service) to counteract Fateh (Arafat's private police). Of course Hamas flopped and ending up going against Israel. You can't side with a country that is attacking you and forcing you to do what they want you to do. Today, Kahanist (Zionist Terrorist group) along with JDL (Jewish Defense League) Ideologies have filled the minds of Israeli soldiers which is simply to kill every Arab on the face of the earth. Israeli settlers are attacking Palestinian children walking to school along with their foreign protectors (ISM). A apartheid wall which reaches higher than the berlin wall and longer are squeezing Palestinians and forcing them to pay for water which is under Palestinian land.

Again Palestinians have no rights, no human rights, no right of return, no right to live freely.....and you all sit there and smile with confidence while answering to the question with ideas of racism and ignorance. Do not say we didn't tell you of Israel's genocide of the Palestinian people. Do not say you didn't see it nor did you hear it. If you made it this far in your reading, then you've just been informed. Educate yourself.

Palestinians are living and are forced to live the life in which you all use as an example of terrorism. Had your life been the same, I am sure you would have join the fight with Hamas. The founding fathers of the United States wouldn't have established this country had it not been for the militias that supported them.

The Israelis and most of our media are lying as usual.

But here's the truth people :)

"basically the current stage of what's going on -- there's a lot more -- begins with the Hamas election, back the end of January. Israel and the United States at once announced that they were going to punish the people of Palestine for voting the wrong way in a free election. And the punishment has been severe.

At the same time, it's partly in Gaza, and sort of hidden in a way, but even more extreme in the West Bank, where Olmert announced his annexation program, what’s euphemistically called “convergence” and described here often as a “withdrawal,” but in fact it’s a formalization of the program of annexing the valuable lands, most of the resources, including water, of the West Bank and cantonizing the rest and imprisoning it, since he also announced that Israel would take over the Jordan Valley. Well, that proceeds without extreme violence or nothing much said about it.

Gaza, itself, the latest phase, began on June 24. It was when Israel abducted two Gaza civilians, a doctor and his brother. We don't know their names. You don’t know the names of victims. They were taken to Israel, presumably, and nobody knows their fate. The next day, something happened, which we do know about, a lot. Militants in Gaza, probably Islamic Jihad, abducted an Israeli soldier across the border. That’s Corporal Gilad Shalit. And that's well known; first abduction is not. Then followed the escalation of Israeli attacks on Gaza, which I don’t have to repeat. It’s reported on adequately.

The next stage was Hezbollah's abduction of two Israeli soldiers, they say on the border. Their official reason for this is that they are aiming for prisoner release. There are a few, nobody knows how many. Officially, there are three Lebanese prisoners in Israel. There's allegedly a couple hundred people missing. Who knows where they are?

But the real reason, I think it's generally agreed by analysts, is that -- I’ll read from the Financial Times, which happens to be right in front of me. “The timing and scale of its attack suggest it was partly intended to reduce the pressure on Palestinians by forcing Israel to fight on two fronts simultaneously.” David Hearst, who knows this area well, describes it, I think this morning, as a display of solidarity with suffering people, the clinching impulse."

When the American people stop their government from sending a total of $90 Billion of their taxes to Israel to support their barbaric acts then the fighting will stop.

And also when the American people stop their governments from vetoing any chance of a peaceful settlement, then maybe there will be an agreement.

It's not ok. Then people get hostile toward adnyone who would ask a question. They are very hostile and they don't even know it. Out of all the people killed over there, from what I understand, it's civilians. It is easy for people to sit in thier comfortable chairs and what they are actually doing is rejiocing in the fact that those being killed are innocent. I don't know what was ever accomplished by killing people who had nothing to do with the events that lead up to the escallation.
You know that it is not OK, otherwise you would not be asking.
Both sides of the conflict are at odds with each other. Don't feel bad about the name calling and hostility that goes on when we ask questions that others don't like. They will throw pointy insults at us because they need something, anything to make themselves feel superior which they're not. People do this to abuse you into backing down and falling in line with what they think. Don't fall for it. You are entitled to your opinion. On the other hand, try to see it from both sides. I've been on both sides, but in this case I don't think the killing going on is OK at all.

You need to find out out the facts about the middle east. The situation is not as simple minded as your question suggests. Besides of which, the premis to your question is wrong, people do care about innocent civillians getting killed.

Maybe the palestinians should not hide behind women and children. Maybe they should abide by the treaties they sign. Maybe they should give up on the annihilation of Isreal.

Since both, (Jews, and Muslims), worship the God of Abraham, maybe you should look at the prophecy in the Bible, compare it to what ever you want, and see which is correct. Essau's seed was promised three things because of his sin, go find out what they were.

The sins of the fathers will visit their children. Muslims are reaping what they have sown.

Muslams, bloodthirsty, brutal, subhumans. If they would stop trying to overthrow the west, they too could live in peace.

It's not okay. What you state in your question is not true. I think I can speak for millions of Americans who care about the killings on both sides.

However, to most Americans, it looks like the Muslim extremists will not try to work out a peace treaty with Israel. It looks like the Muslim extremists want to wipe Israel off the map and will not settle for any compromise. This non compromising terrorist stance will not win much support in America.

It's not. Probably best to toss the idea that there is any defining right or wrong side to that conflict. After all this time, the only thing that's patently clear is that neither side has any intention of allowing the other to exist peacefully. Whether they're lobbing ordnance at each other, erecting settlements, or blowing themselves up in crowded cafes, they have all maintained a constant state of unrest for decades now. None of it's ok.

in certainty that the state of Israel shouldnt relatively exist, it became into made up via a moron British top minister for no genuine reason. in the previous it became into made, Jews, Muslims and Christians all lived jointly there in peace. Now the Jews have been extremely racist and taken care of the Muslims in Gaza and the West monetary agency despicably, which led to many Muslims in the section, alongside with those in Lebanon to alter into the two racist and violent in the direction of the Jews. the two sides, Hezbollah and Israelare partly to to fault. even nonetheless, Israel has fought an unfair warfare, targetting many civillians, around 5 circumstances as many Lebanese have been killed than Israelis. Undoubtably some Israeli civillians have additionally been killed, yet no-the place close to as many as lebanese. In direct answer to your question, they're the two killing one yet another.

Well, the Israelites are God's chosen people, and it's about time they started putting up a good fight. They will win, of course, when Jesus comes back, but in the mean time, they've gotta fight the good fight. Go Israel!
Of course, there are some politics involved, but HEY, it's a war!

It's not okay. Israel has what I call a "sledgehammer going after a fly" mentality when trying to deal with Hezbollah. Killing innocent civilians is never right, no matter who they are.
