I am sure that Bush is not stupid, but Iraq certainly looks like a colossal mistake. Here are your long term effects:

1. Iraq probably in turmoil for decades a la Afganistan post USSR invasion.
2. Thousands of returning vets with serious problems (physical and mental)
3. Billions of $$ wasted.
4. All of our post WWII international goodwill gone.

Going into Afghanistan was right (they were operating terrorist training camps).
Going into Iraq was wrong. Iraq had no weapons of Mass Destruction nor did they have anything to do with 9-11.

If Bush believes a democracy will be created in Iraq he is ignoring history. The Sunni and Shiite hate each other more than anyone else.
We should get out now!

Bush has been promoting going to war with Iraq since he started campaigning for office before the 2000 election. I doubt wisdom has anything to do with it.

I dont think we should have went to war to the extent we have done , but , this is my country and he's my president and im a patriotic american and im gonna support em both through good and bad
