First, Westley Clark is a Democrat. He has great experience in leadership having run the NATO Military and exercising great military leadership during the Bosnia/Kosovo wars in the Balkans.
However, he does not seem to be a dynamic speaker, or what would be called a First String Candidate, but his hat is in the ring and in this current nominating campaign anything can happen and probably will happen.
Having grown up partly in the 1950' watching the Democratic National Convention on a black and white television, I can still remember the nail biting drama appreciated by political junkies as each State was called from the podium to shout out there vote count over the den of noise when thousands of people are cheering, talking, yelling, cursing and coughing. "The Great State of Alabama here by registers Four votes for the Nomination Edger Somebody for President of the United States of America. Seven votes for the ........ and so on.
My point being, that this next convention maybe one of those events you do not want to miss because Hillary may not get the nomination on the first ballot, not that I am against her because I like Hillary Clinton, but because if she or anyone does not win the first ballot, then it is a whole new ballgame.
God help but I want to see an old fashion nomination fight that somehow ends up with the best candidate and the most fired up Democratic Party imaginable.
Behind the TV face would be scenes of the struggle for would be Presidents with active commentator presentations and speculation on the possibilities, the bargaining could end up nominating other candidates that did not even run, like Albert Gore or even Willie Mays.
The hopes and dreams are endless.

Yes, I do think that Wesley Clark would be a good President. He has shown quite a bit of maturity, has stayed out of the race-to-the-bottom name-calling we're suffering from here, and he would bring a pro-military perspective that we've missed in the last 6 years.

Dwight Eisenhower (the last GREAT Republican) was an extremely bright leader, and I think Wesley Clark would be very similar.
