My husband was in the national Guards, what would be the probability to be sent somewhere to do anything at all? He says if hes in school (theyll pay for him school) and if they dont have enough people in his unit, they cant send him anywhere. He will only go saturday and sunday during day hours and never go anywhere for 2 weeks out of the year over night, just in the day hours. Im just worried if he goes back in cause we're trying to get pregnant. Is he lieing?

Ok what is he? In the National Guard or Was in the National Guard and wants to get back in?
Yes they pay for most of the schooling.

Yes they have weekend drills once a month which he could go home at night.

Yes they have 2 week training, which he may go out of state.

He may also get deployed and sent away for 18 months.

his unit can get called up if they get enough (fillers) from other units, Also, his coming home each night depends on where he goes for his 2 weeks. I usually have to go somewhere out of state. One more thing. If there is a disaster he could get called to that no matter what his unit strength is.

good luck on getting pregnant, but I really don't know if he is lying, he is only repeating what he has been told.
If you are worried about this you could contact someone in the enlistment office and ask them.
